Xero received nothing but a kind smile from the shorter woman. Shaking her head at his apology, she hopped forward so she could lay a hand on his arm to steady herself. She dare not go any closer to any bit of furniture. Arceus only knew where more of that dreaded glass could be. She rather liked having one foot unharmed.

"Don't worry about it," she told him, raising her head up to look at him. Strange how she was only now noticing how tall he was. For a woman, she as tall. For a man, he was taller. Nor too bad looking, really, now that she could get a good look up close in a more relaxed situation. Then again, Mewtwo always had a handsome face. "It never even crossed my mind that it was an intention."

She shook her head, again. Her own tail still resting on one bare shoulder while it was free to pose upright. "I'm not uncomfortable with it. Being touched doesn't mean anything." At his last words, she chuckled. "Fine. You're right. I couldn't be trusted not to use my powers, since it would be easier to find my house from the sky than the ground. I'll end up getting lost on my own."

"I'm close enough. Go ahead."

Xero extended his arm so she could grab onto it easily when she hopped toward him. The distance wasn't great, but every little bit helped. In fact Xero was about ready to scoop her up and literally carry her until she stated that she was close enough. Perhaps he still intimidated her? It would be best not to get much closer than...

"...Remember to relax please...."
He spoke quietly.

The next moment his light blue aura engulfed them both. His eyes were already glowing. Even with his powers he was sure to be very careful with her. A barrier was put up around them as the two shot upward toward the skies. The hole was just barely large enough in the ceiling to get them both through, however Xero felt the extra precaution was necessary. Only after they had cleared the house did the barrier drop again.

The town below seemed to glisten in the beautiful afternoon light. From their height the storm off coast was just barely visible over the horizon. Everything before that was beautiful blue skies. The busy town below seemed so quiet from above, only the cars seemed to be moving along with the tiny dots that were no doubt poke'humans or plain humans going about their day.

If Prisca were to look directly below their feet she would notice that the land was slightly distorted. Xero, as most times when he flew, put up a 'mirror' about himself to hide his physical presence. From the ground the two would be unseen.

"...Where is your home?..." Xero hovered at what he deemed a good altitude to get a view of the city.

For a moment, Prisca was confused. She had expected him to pick her up. In the short time he readied to exit the house, she had been blinking at him in obvious confusion. However, once she say how high he intended to go, her expression changed to one of slight terror.

Unwillingly, her free hand, which was still holding one side of her dress, let go and grabbed onto his arm. Her body inched a little closer until she was hugging his arm, her eyes closed. Her heart had started the rapid beating, again. This time, not due to the closeness of the two of them.

Taking a deep breath, she registered his question, forcing herself to open her eyes. "Not in the city," she whispered, her cheek pressed against his shoulder. Looking around them for a moment, she settled her eyes on a spot in amongst the forest. "There. I live alone there."

A blush crept across her cheeks. She turned her head to try and hide it. "I'm afraid I, uh....Don't like heights anymore."

Xero glanced at Prisca when she inched closer. Didn't she not want to get any closer? It wasn't until she admitted to being afraid of heights did he understand the action. He wouldn't have guessed it after watching her fly in while on the beach.

"... I will not let you go...." Xero looked down at Prisca fully."...You need not be afraid..."

Xero held still until after she pointed her house outside the city borders. Much like his was only on the opposite side of the city, and likely in much better condition. Once he was sure of the location he moved forward. The area around them would distort than vanish only to reappear in a new location, a good mile above Prisca's house. This time he was prepared to move more than one body so there was no access busts of energy. At least large enough to reach her house and damage anything.

Unlike the takeoff, Xero approached the ground slowly. As they lowered Xero took note of the front porch. It seemed a good place to land.

-Your heart managed to beat all on its own all night long Xero. I knew you would make it... now if only you would open your eyes. Little steps at a time I guess. Only when you are ready okay...- The sweet, and young, female voice seemed to echo quietly within Xero's aura. Strangely he did not seem to notice it. -Stop talking to it like it is a child, it is a weapon not your baby. It will not even recognize you when it wakes. No doubt it will want to tear you apart... It may be small now but it could still kill you. So don't sit so close, it could wake at any moment. And while you are doing that run a few more DNA and-- An elderly male voice joined in than was abruptly cut off when Xero's aura faded upon landing.

Xero readied himself to support Prisca should she loose balance or anything of the sort.
"... Will you be alright from here?" He asked as he looked over the exterior of the house. It was charming to say the least. It looked comfortable. When he finished looking his focus returned to Prisca.

Prisca looked up at Xero when he spoke to her. Her whole fear of really high heights made her embarrassed. Why must she be more woman than Mewtwo? Being near him always reminded her of the things she could do, but never did.

"Didn't think you would," she answered, turning her face away once she remembered her flushed cheeks. "Can't deal with anything really high anymore..." It made her feel like a failure. Though those feelings didn't last very long before he started to move, again, and she closed her eyes.

She was glad he had decided to teleport instead of fly over. Made her embarrassment last as little as possible. Her eyes, previously still shut tight, snapped open at the strange voices in her head. Once glance up at the man she still clung to told her it wasn't him. Nor was it his voice in her head. Judging by his face, he seemed oblivious, concentrating more on the landing than anything else.

Prisca turned her head back away so he didn't notice the look of confusion on her face and ask about it. They must be memories. Certainly not hers. If anything, there were no women in her past. Nor men with a cruel voice like the one she heard. By what they were saying, she guessed this is what Xero had heard while still in the test tube. That made her face fall a little bit. All she could remember of developing were kind words and stories. All she heard when she got out were kind words and stories. What else had he heard? How badly had he been treated to create such a quiet, sad person?

The grip on his arm slackened as they reached the ground and finally let go so the woman could drop down on her one good foot alone. She grabbed onto the banister for balance, hopping forward a few steps so she was in front of the middle set of doors. Ignoring his earlier wish for her to take it easy, she let herself hover slightly above the ground so she could turn around and face him, dropping back down on her one foot.

"Yes...." she answered, a little distracted by the things she had heard. Blinking a few times, she looked at him, leaning forward slightly. No smile lit her face as it normally did. Her eyes and voice were soft and devoid of much emotion besides warmth. "I'll be fine." She searched her brain for something to say for a moment. "Uh....Xero? Have any plans during the next few weeks? 'Cause, besides promotional and client parties, I'm alone. No one should really be alone for Christmas."

Xero didn't like the sight of her hopping about on one foot. He felt responsible for that. All she wanted to do was help, though her action was careless and Xero had yet to fully understand why she grabbed him. In truth he wasn't angered by it. If any negative emotion he was worried the outcome might have been different. Him possibly attacking her without a thought.

When Prisca stated she would be alright from this point Xero readied to take to the sky again. His eyes begun to glow a light purple, but stopped abruptly when she called his name.

He looked back at her and quickly took note of the smile. It was inviting, just like Trinity's was. With that thought in mind it took him a moment to register what she was asking. Christmas? Xero had not 'celebrated' that holiday since he was in the test tube. Or something close to celebrating it. Since he had escaped from the lab he disregarded the holiday all together just like anything else.

"... I have nothing different scheduled for that time." He had hoped to find his friend by than and be gone. Despite his gut feeling that would not happen he choose to believe blindly he would find her. However, he also wanted to see Prisca again. There was something relaxing about her presence. He felt less of a cold machine around her. ".... but if you would like the company... perhaps.... we can meet again."

He looked back up toward the sky. "...and perhaps you will allow me to help you be at peace with they sky...." It was hard to tell through his stoic voice, but he seemed slightly amused. He didn't see anything wrong with her fear, but felt she would enjoy the tranquility of such altitudes if she were not afraid.

Xero's eyes begun to glow again as he took back to the skies. He didn't leave any time for her to reply before he left partially because he, once again, felt foolish for saying such things. Why should it be if concern that she feared heights?

He did, despite feeling so foolish, remain in the sky far, very far, above the house to make sure Prisca did make it inside alright. After this he planned on heading straight for bed despite his routine.... it had been such a taxing day.

The woman gave him one of her more warm smiles at his answer. It wasn't really an acceptance of her invitation, but it also wasn't a refusal. To her, that was good enough. She probably couldn't expect any less or more than that. Just the slight promise that, perhaps, she could get him to come inside at a later date was enough to brighten her mood. The last time she had celebrated Christmas with someone else was back when she was a Pokemon, living with the scientist. She liked the warm feelings the holiday always gave her.

Leaving him go without saying anything back, Prisca rose off the ground enough that she could easily move around without the annoying hopping, yet not have fear of falling and hurting herself more. If it came down to it, she would search him out in a few weeks time, after she closed her custom orders for the year.
