Okay here's the deal: There's this guy i kinda like and he just confessed that he loved me. Then there's this girl who i love and i asked her out. She's still getting over this guy and said that I should wait a while before asking her out again. I REALLY love her and am willing to wait, but the guy is also really special to me and is available now, our relationship perhaps could grow or could amount to nothing leaving nothing but a wasted chance with the girl......sigh....That's it put simply...
i hate the cliche "go with your heart". if you were doing that you wouldn't

if you're especially needing physical contact go for the guy and your libido. this option comes with heavy petting and hawt man on woman action.
if you're not quite so horny go for the girl and your heart. this option comes with consoling the one you love with her time of need. (bragging rights included)
if, by some kinda chance you can get them
both in bed, go for it. this option comes in a threesome, bragging rights for the guy and a soda if you get thirsty.
but
I would wait for the girl, a same gender relationship has more understanding than a mixed. and so by proxy it's what i'd choose. but i ain't identifying with bi anymore so... ya know. anyway, that's how i see it.
