  ☆•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•*´¨`*•.¸¸.•★ "..I was only gone for, well, I haven't kept track? It didn't feel very long." And the time kind of did zoom by after she managed to catch her new tiny furry friends.
But with matters the way they were now, she didn't feel the need to focus on explaining her short adventure, as her concern was now on the injured teen. "I...I see..What should we do about --!" Sentences weren't going to be finished around here it seemed! The very one she was addressing, suddenly became free of his stone prison.
For one to break so easily out of Palom's petrifying magic was very rare, and it could only mean this guy was no joke. He certainly didn't look like one. As Palom and Leonora worked together to bring yet another surprise of intense magic at him...it seemed in the end, it was also not enough to bring him down. This was certainly becoming a little to frightening. Could they really stand against this man?
Just as the worry began to set in, another distraction came, in the form of a jolt of electricity. As she focused on the new presence, it was clear she was probably just as confused as Palom was. For now, she could only really listen and watch, but remain at the ready should she need to move, or cast.
"......" Eventually, both the not so welcome one left, along with the other one she didn't know! "...Um..I feel we might be safer if we all stay together? You are his primary target, it seems..Will you stay with us, at the very least until you have fully healed. "

Palom "It felt like a pretty long time on my end..." Palom muttered. "We don't know this town, what if you go and get captured? Then you'll just make more work for me. From now on, I guess I'll just have to stay with you more." He crossed his arms. :"I have to make sure you don't get in a bad spot without me around..." When she was out of his sight for too long, he'd start to get worried... Which was silly, perhaps, but.... that was just how it was."..." Kaden shook his head. "Thanks, but... I need to get back to Midgar. There's someone waiting for me..." He glanced off in the direction of the city. "Besides, I'm not exactly weak. I don't usually get caught in such bad spots, but that guy caught me off-guard. And he was stronger than most things I've seen before..." A mix of strength and a lack of honor made for one dangerous foe. "But I'll be more aware in the future... I know his presence now." And he was certainly going to keep it in mind. "Thank you both regardless. I'd be in a much worse spot if not for you both...""Not an issue," Palom said in response. "It's only natural for a future Sage such as myself to assist people when they're in danger. My partner can be a mess sometimes, but she's pretty useful in a pinch."Kaden chuckled a bit. "The two of you make a cute couple. It makes me want to return to Ariel all the more... so I should be going." He waved, turning and beginning towards the exit."....." Palom crossed his arms, turning away for a moment. "Did he just say...?" He shook his head. "...What an annoying assumption! That's ridiculous, we don't even... Isn't that ridiculous, Leonora??" ...He couldn't face her. One could probably guess why. He might be blushing just a tad... (( OOC: ))

" Well, that's what she got from the few people she did find herself having to speak to. The Weapons shop keeper, the Inn keeper, everyone was so very nice! "You have...such confidence in your magic. It is you who taught me so much, maybe..you can show that confidence in me too? I don't believe I'm entirely helpless anymore, with the best future Sage to have guided me..I think I will be okay not to have you being so bothered to watch over me.." Yep, as if he was really so bothered to watch over her every second of the day! Though it wasn't really so much that she thought she bothered him, but because she worried she was taking up his freedom to do what he might of enjoyed. Did she enjoy being with him every second of the day? Of course, but she also didn't want him to feel smothered.
Turning to Kaden now as the young prince spoke, she couldn't help but worry still! There was an obviously frightening man hunting him down, it didn't seem right to just go off alone. But, no matter what she thought, she knew she also couldn't stop him. "It still seems to be a risk. " Leonora said softly. "I would feel better if you rested a little more....though, if you are certain you can make it back to where you need to be safely..then I hope you find who you are looking for. " She smiled softly. But soon, that smile would turn into that of a small panic as Kaden left them with those few words that would turn Leonora's face into a deep red, and she lifted her long sleeve covered hands to partially cover her face. "..!..." She couldn't speak, oh gods, why did it turn out like this? Poor Leonora was silenced into nervousness, and a whole lot of shyness!

Palom"...You're too trusting." Palom responded wearily. "For all you know, they're only pretending to be kind to lower your guard. And even if they are being genuine, you never know what could pop up and try to attack." Especially in this world, where more people could apparently teleport than not. "...You're still learning. Your Black Magic isn't potent enough to handle yourself yet. And I can't imagine you being ready to kill at a moment's notice, either... So, bother or not, I'm staying with you." He paused for a looooong moment. "...But... it's... not really a bother..." He muttered under his breath. "I like being around you... I guess... so don't worry about that..." He rolled his eyes, turning his face away to hide his somewhat red face. "But don't get used to hearing that." He could be quite the tsundere, couldn't he.
Then came the next moment, where the two became flustered at the stranger's assumption. "....Leonora! ....Say something!!" For some reason, her silence just made him more flustered... "Gah, you're so hopeless! Why are you so flustered?!" Because he was the epitome of calm right now. "This is why I can't leave you alone, you get so flustered so easily!" Yes, that was clearly the reason.(( OOC: ))

Raven Slouched in the helicopter approaching their destination, Raven let out a deep sigh through his nose, closing his eyes to reflect on all that had led him here.
"Cissnei has betrayed us. She led one of Avalanche's most powerful here, and they almost managed to assassinate the president." Tseng informed the Turks around him, and only one thought crossed Raven's mind: "Too bad they didn't."
But he didn't get to stay silent, as all eyes fell upon him. "...The hell're you lookin' at me for?"
"You'n Cissnei were pretty close, huh? You were all part of that Turk clique who left when the old Avalanche got destroyed."
"What's that got to do with anything?"
"We can't tolerate traitors in the Turks."
"I don't like your tone." Raven's teeth clenched. "I didn't know s**t about what she was doin', 's that what you wanted to hear?"
"...I should hope not. Your sister's been doing better, hasn't she? It's thanks to Shinra.. Would be a shame if something happened to her because you decided to turn traitor."
"..." Raven looked around, and all eyes remained on him. "...The hell happened to you, man? The hell happened to ALL of US? Is this how the Turks are? We just threaten each other?"
"Maybe this is how it's always been. Maybe your viewpoint is skewed from the group you always spent time with."
"...Yeah, skewed... by bein' around people who respected and cared about each other." Part of him wanted to try to rally them against Shinra at this point--try to point out what it's turned them into. But he couldn't risk his sister. That's what all this pain, all this bullshit, all this suffering was for. If he had to keep choking this s**t down for her sake, that's what he'd do. "My sister's life depends on Shinra. That should be proof enough I'm loyal, all right? s**t."
"Perhaps. If you fail your next mission, I can't promise our aid will continue..." He turned his head. "Elena. You're with Raven. Keep an eye on him. A single step out of line, take him down."
And that was how he wound up here, in this damn helicopter, sitting across from Elena who was watching him like a hawk. "Never thought I'd be gettin' stared down by your kid sister, Emma." He muttered under his breath. "The hell're you in all this, anyway...?" Where were any of their old friends? Were any of them still alive anymore...? He only knew about himself and Cissnei. Still... one was a lot better than zero.
The time came all too soon--and they were off the helicopter as he drew his twin pistols. Cosmo Canyon, a place of peace and planetology, had already turned into a warzone--the guards at the gate slaughtered by Neo SOLDIERs. Raven and Elena were on the scene after the surprise attack was launched. "There! That's our target! Get him and get out--no one else needs to die, all right?""You bring war to these peaceful soils and now you think you can speak of sparing lives?!" A snarl preceded a lunge, and the throat being torn out of a Neo SOLDIER. "I am the son of the warrior Seto! I am the protector of this canyon! You will plague this peaceful land no longer!!" Nanaki shouted viciously, before tearing into another Neo SOLDIER's shin."Sorry pal, got no choice..." Raven muttered, raising his two guns and firing taser rounds at the endangered beast fighting to protect his homeland. (( OOC: ))
