Do you have an idea that you think would improve the guild? A campaign that would attract more awesome people like you? Something that would really excite the members into a frenzy?

This guild is here for YOU. We encourage you to be an active part of it by helping us improve. If you want to hold a contest or an event, typically we have no problem with you simply setting it up and having at it. But if, say, you have a contest that you think would be awesome but have no funding for it, or if you have an idea that you're not sure we would go for, go ahead and post it here for consideration.
Let us know what you want in your guild and we'll see what we can do to make it happen 3nodding

I would like to back up gold on the fact we absolutly encourage creativity. If you have a good idea in a competition, we can fund it. Most likly we will hold and payout the prizes, but we can cover it. We have a certain ammount available to encourage these things.

I think a thread in CB involving prizes for person on Xth page (so say every 100th) like a 10k prize maybe? Not sure I am just spitballing here.
Also in the thread have a roll dice comp.
Sell art from guildies on the page (so any guildies that want to get in on this and sell their art on the page)
A lottery even where all money goes to winner and a 2nd place consulation prize.
And use this page to advertise the guild, get a few more people in, yea some might be people that aren't to nice but give em a chance see how they are and sort through it.
If interested I can go into more detail but this is just a VERY BASIC outline

Which you can bump in, any time you wish.
We only have a couple artsy guildies and they are mainly taken up with real life. But if you know any artists who want to do that I am keen to know.
Lotterys, take a lot of involved work for managing tickets, advertsing, organising bumpers and such. I feel they are not really worth thier time.
Please feel free to comment on how we can improve our current CB topic.

The GDAPW CB thread could maybe use some revamping, but I think most of the elements we've got in it are pretty solid (maybe I just miss that new thread smell). Great minds must think alike, what with the suggestions you made that we've already implemented~ But I'm with Sage on the whole lottery thing. I've tried running and entering lotteries before, and very rarely do they ever seem to even get finished in most cases. And in the meantime people have to wait forever while their money is tied up in something that may never finish. I'd rather just avoid doing that, unless we had a smaller one on the guild itself or something.
Also, I don't know HOW I managed to not see that this thread had new responses before now sweatdrop

We need more TACOS!!!!! Or maybe make a recipe exchange sub forum so that way we can try a monthly give away and give a monthly theme, I could supply the prize and raise up money for the sub forum 3nodding
examples:
Theme: Dinner
Theme: Appetizers
Theme: Cookies
Theme: Seafood
Theme: Shrimp
Theme: Cannibalism (Just kidding whee )

Aside from the one recipe I have for tuna noodle casserole, the only theme I would have much to contribute anything to would be "Dessert".

Also, Soylent Green is people.
Can we have subforums within our subforums? For some reason I get the vibe that cooking sub would go under the art subforum. Being a food creation art, and all. Maybe that's just me.
But I like this idea! Though as far as raising money for the subforum itself...we have so much Gold in the guild account right now that I don't think it'll be an issue sweatdrop

You know, my favorite meal DOES consist of chicken as a main entrée. And it's pretty simple too. Maybe I could dig up the old recipe and post that for that month ninja
Since you can't see the guild account, do you actually have the ability to make the new subforum?

nope heart That's why I suggested the sub forum, then the ones who could do it, could make it 3nodding Then they could let me know so that way I could organize the threads that are already scattered. 3nodding it'd actually be the only forum you could necro things.
