Moonglow was quite pleased that the human had finally figured it out. Once the elder otter was free, she looked up at him and nudged his ankle with her head, hoping that the thankfulness of the gesture was conveyable and understandable by a human. Then, as otters are wont to do, she wandered away from the outsider to talk to her own kind. Shaking her head, she addressed the formerly-stuck otter. "The Ranger should perhaps look into getting that window fixed. 'Tisn't safe the way it was." She didn't mention that they weren't supposed to go in there- after all, what otter hadn't tried to nick something from the Ranger? She'd certainly been a sock-snatcher in her youth.
