Hey all, I'm the new guy at the guild! You can call me Kaiden! I'm usually pretty good at introductions, but it's 1:30 and I'm distracted by NCIS: LA at the time I'm writing this, so forgive me if it's a bit more slapdash than usual. I'm sure you all understand! And if you don't, well, I have a bag of bloodthirsty, venomous attack cheese, so I suggest you keep those opinions to yourself.
I live in California, and I work as a security guard, which is to say that I get payed nine dollars an hour to sit around and....read books, play pokemon, talk to myself, and other fun things of no particular import. I enjoy martial arts, I'm a black belt, in fact. I'm registered with the baton, best in my class.....disarmed my instructor. XD Other hobbies I have are Card games (Magic: The Gathering would be my new current nerd addiction), chess, shooting, being bizarre, and running from the Gungerlock.
I love writing, been roleplaying for nearly five years, since I was fifteen. I have seven siblings, six brothers, one sister. I'm Christian, and as a random fact, I love wristbands. I dunno, I just do. They're cool. Like......fezzes.....fezs....whatever the hell the plural of 'fez' is. o.O
Okay! Now for my RP sample!!

Every soldier to ever enter a battle has been scared for their life. No matter how many battles or campaigns they've seen, no human truly adjusts to the clashing of arms, the wholesale slaughter of hundreds of human beings in defense of a cause. Such a sensation was hardly new to Kaiden, but here, in this moment of complete chaos, he had never been more terrified in his life.
Sweat beaded on the warrior's brow, and only with the greatest of effort did the young royal knight manage to control his breathing as he was hurtled into a struggle so completely beyond his comprehension that he was very nearly paralyzed. His muscles tensed, and his eyes darted to every corner of the room, looking for shelter, an exit, before his eyes lingered on the foe who could, with a mere word, render him completely helpless.
"Kaiden!" came the hale and hearty voice of his sergeant, accompanied by a slap on his shoulder which, in his shaken state, nearly sent him face-first into the floor. "This is a gala! You look like a green recruit who got thrown into the Skell Fields!"
"Yeah," Kaiden choked back, "I feel like one too..."
The royal gala was an event held by the crown family of Elidor every year, and anyone of title was invited. Every royal knight, in recognition for their duty, was made an honorary noble. Kaiden had intended from the very beginning to attend, only it was to be as a guard. But his sergeant apparently decided to meddle.
He hated when Tellus did that.
"No Kaiden, you work too hard!" he said, "you've served for five years, you deserve this!"
No, he deserved to not be thrown into a wildly uncomfortable situation with some of the most prominent citizens of the nation, for him to flounder and fluster and make a fool out of himself. He'd rather take on a whole field of Scourge.
"And, if I'm reading things right, I think you've caught Elsia's eye, too.."
And if Kaiden was looking at himself in a mirror, he would have wondered just how in the world he turned deathly pale and sickly green at the same time. Elsia was one of the newest knights in the Exemplar Order, and Kaiden had the honor and privilege of serving with this young lady on a couple of occasions. And she would be the 'enemy' that Kaiden was dreading this whole night.
He had known her some time, and even clad in her polished, silver armor and issuing orders in an outpost, she was extremely beautiful. Now, however, she was nothing short of enchanting. Dressed in an elegant, green gown with gold trim, and her brown hair cascading down past her shoulders, she looked every bit the noble she was, and tonight there was no trace of the eager warrior that Kaiden knew her to be. Her brilliant green eyes seemed almost to dance in the light, and the smile she gave Kaiden as soon as their eyes met had a devastating effect on his pulse.
And she was walking his way.
'Whap!' The blow upside the back of his skull sent the flabbergasted young knight staggering forward, but shooting a venomous look at his sergeant who had struck him.
"Well don't stand there like some post, boy! Go talk to her! Ask her to dance! The entire unit knows you fancy her."
'Yeah, and now so does every noble in Elidor. Thanks Tellus...' he thought dryly to himself as he turned once again to face forward.
And came face-to-face with Elsia.
He wasn't quite sure how in the world she crossed the distance between the two of them so rapidly, but he sent every prayer up that he could think of that she had not just heard what Tellus had said.
"Hello Kaiden," Elsia greeted almost melodically, sending his heart galloping in circles in his ribcage.
"H-hello, m'lady," he responded (barely), inclining his head in a respectful greeting.
Her laugh was like a set of chimes in a spring breeze, soft yet clear, and ever pleasant to the ears. "Let me guess, this is the first ball you've ever been to, hasn't it?"
Kaiden now added a tinge of red to the swirl of colors that had been shading his face. "Is it really that obvious?" he asked, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. Good grief, he was twenty-four and this girl made him feel like a dumb-struck teenager again!
"Yeah, I would have to say that it is, but don't worry too much about it. I think it adds to your charm." She flashed him a teasing grin that made him, for a moment, suspect that she knew exactly the effect she was having on him.
If so, he'd have to rethink his opinion of Elsia, she was downright cruel.
"So, I see that you can't get away from your sergeant even off-duty," she interrupted the senseless stammering the young knight had gone into at her previous remark.
"Especially when I'm off-duty," Kaiden corrected her, which sent her into a burst of laughter which set his flipping stomach at ease. For once this whole night, Kaiden felt himself slowly beginning to relax.
"So Kaiden," Elsia almost purred, the shift in her voice sending his mind into a state of near panic, "as much as I am enjoying our banter, are you ever going to get around to asking me to dance?"
And in that moment, Kaiden wasn't sure whether to praise the Lord, or curse bitterly at the heavens, but as he asked for her hand and led her out onto the floor, Kaiden realized, that a battle for a nation is far easier than a battle for a heart.

Cherry Ki Oh dear, a doctor who fan? 4laugh I love Doctor who ^^ And I, too, am in california~ o.o martial arts? How long did it take you to be able to disarm your instructor? Yes! I love Doctor Who! Especially this newest season!! No, no, you've got it wrong. I could never disarm my karate teacher, that guy could kill me with a straw wrapper! But the person directing the baton licensing class that I took, apparently thought I had no experience....of course, the weapon I learned in karate were the escrimas, or fighting sticks. So first go, I took his weapon away from him. The whole classroom burst out laughing! xd

Vampire Hunter Mari Hi, name's Maribell. I've been roleplaying for one year, but I've improved a lot. I like history(world, not American), writing, poetry, music, and drawing. I hate girly stuff, pink(the color), orange, yellow, people who are annoying, and many other things. I collect postcards as a hobby and I used to collect pokemon cards. I am the eldest of five. Two brothers and two sisters. oh, you have alot of siblings, and your the oldest~ I'm the youngest of two. >_> ooh, I love collecting postcards! And i love the moments when you find one from, lets say, hawaii, but your in california xD

  Clarice Vetrous Moresette
Dollars || Second in Command
Clarice awoke hastily from a bed she wasn't familiar with. She sensed something, danger, maybe. She sat up, noticing the corpses of three women and two equally aged men entangled in a naked mess of flesh. Normally her memory would never have failed her, except for once many years ago when she was almost killed during the witch hunts. She sighed, knowing she had gone into a feeding frenzy where her emotion and need for blood had taken over her, quite like an overly drunk human but ten times over. She touched her thighs, they had fully healed. What day is it... She thought as she looked around her. She got up and went into the restroom and looked at her face, a face that at the current moment would draw attention from law, considering the amount of blood that ran down her neck. Even noticing the blood on her hands. I must have ripped into something... She thought, surprised at the strength even she, a physically weak vampire, could have when lost in the feeding. She slipped off her clothes and jumped into the shower, not caring that it belonged to someone else, or at least it used to. She couldn't shake this feeling that something was wrong, she didn't know how long she had been away, what she had been doing. At least back in the old ages, it was harder to track a vampire, now with this modern technology, it makes it even easier by far. She closed her eyes to gaze upon Noah, the speed at which the image came was frightening. After feeding on so much blood, her powers seemed strengthened by much more than she can remember. She wondered how her aura would affect lesser vampires, they would sense her, but would they fear her? No, they have no reason to fear me. I am trusted as Noah's second. She reassured herself. Noah was safe and with Akuma, though Noah's expression was bright as day. Something was bothering him. She tried her hardest to remember what had happened during her frenzy, but knew it was futile. Suddenly a thought came to mind. Cookie. She remembered Noah had taken the injured girl with him back to base to fix her wounds. She knew his skill with medicine and knew Cookie would have survived, but had she been changed? A slight relief had washed over her at the thought, but she had to know. She finished her shower and rushed back to her apartment in the bloodied clothes that were now dry. She changed her clothes and got into her car to zip over to the construction site, her other home. She parked right infront and got outside of her car. She walked past the creeper's second, Grey, paying no mind to his existence as if her were a speck. "Noirette." She said in simple greeting with that same slight smile she always held on her face as she passed by the woman who was clearly on the prowl, as she should be. She continued on gracefully in her latex dress like a woman on a mission. Though any sort of determination and strength she was have is overshadowed by the look of her model like fragility.
The scent of Cookie's skin was clear as day as she followed the invisible trail. She noticed a calendar on the wall on her way and was surprised that not much time had passed as she thought it would take to heal. Then again that thought was based solely on healing without going into a blood lusting frenzy. She pushed everything aside in her mind as she needed to focus. That sense of something was still nagging at her, pulling at her as strongly as Cookie's scent. Finally, she found her within on of the rooms on a couch. However Vincent was there, his intentions were easy to read considering his unique personality. Clarice stepped close beside him and placed a delicate hand on his shoulder to calm him. "Vincent. I am glad to see you are in good health." She let her words pour out like honey and slowly stepped out towards the front of him, staying close to him still. She gave a friendly smile down towards the snake on the floor. "And to you as well, James." She added giving a short curtsy in respect to such a beautiful creature, aiming her attentions back to Vincent shortly after. "I will vouch for this girl as my guest into our home until Noah can arrive to claim her." She said softly, having no need to show any kind of force. She gazed upon Vincent's facial expressions to see how he would respond. "I don't see that this should be a problem, now should it?" She smiled.

heart Hello One, Hello All heart Hmmm.... well lets start with I am currently going to college for Graphic Design, I love incorporating Modern Technology with Art.
I love coke and reading... I just recently got a Kindle and fell in love with the darn thing.
Umm.. oh yea a name.... well I would love it if you called me Puff, but please don't call me Cheesy.... smile
