She was so different than she normally was. Klyde had to wonder if this was the true Riyo and the other Riyo just a shell....a mask to put up front for the public? As she traced across the metal bar in his ear he leaned into that touch. It seemed she still liked to hide things from him, not that he could totally blame her. He had already made a promise to gain her trust that he was destined to break.
Then an idea came to mind. A delicious idea he just couldn't ignore. It was so strange to come up with this offer, not in a million years did he ever imagine a living creature would relish in the destruction of others. To find such joy in other people's misery. Well.....Nami enjoyed misery but not the kind Klyde enjoyed. "What about another night on the town?" He asked as he pressed himself close, his arms wrapping around her middle to hold her to him. "Two monsters man has created...showing man what they have made." Leaning down he ran his tongue across her throat nipping at the flesh of her neck. He was in a playful mood now, previous worries now gone and despite having eaten he was still hungry. "I'd really like to see what you can do." One hand dipped a little lower, teasing at the bottom of his shirt that she wore, tracing along her hip. Apparently Klyde's mind could only focus on so many things since the majority of it was taken up with thinking about sex or food....or both at once.

The third senior seemed to stumble over his words as he looked to his friend still laid out in pain on the floor. Oh, this plan hadn't been thought out very well. "I uh.." He didn't get a chance to say another word as Desmond landed a punch to his face. Spiraling back, now a few teeth down, he curled into a fetal position on the floor holding his nose. It sounded like he was trying to curse but everything was so muffled and hard to understand.
The only standing senior looked to Desmond with his hands still held up defensively. "I would just like to apologize....before I take my leave." Backing away slowly he bolted like a dog with its tail between its legs. Didn't seem to matter that his friends were injured and on the floor of the commons area...he would come back to collect them later when it was safe.
Mitsu sat quietly on the bench, her eyes still closed as she continued to give her mental question some thought. She tried to think of what their future would have been like if odds had been at their best, but it was difficult since that as no longer an option. Even now, she knew she wouldn't age the way she should, it would make him question...and she would have no answers to give. None that wouldn't get her in trouble. Suto had made it painfully clear...no one was to find out. He had a number of colorful ideas to keep her motivated, though it didn't take much to threaten her to stay silent. Lou had apparently let the scientist in on the loop about Desmond and while she knew Desmond could hold his own....she still feared he would be no match.

What an interesting proposition he'd put fourth. Raising an eyebrow at his offer, she shivered as his tongue trailed across the soft skin of her neck, her index finger curling back from his ear. "Curiosity killed the cat." She whispered, bringing her arms back to undo the first button of the shirt to give him a little more of a view.
"You know. That could very well be literal..." She mused as she undid the second button. "Are you finally done playing under the guise of a romantic?"

Desmond let the third one go without consequence. He didn't have time to chase the idiot around. There was something much more important to tend to. Slinking out of the door, his face turning from anger to nervousness, he looked around and finally spotted her on a bench. "Hey..." He called out softly, walking over to her with an unfamiliar submissive aura about him. When he'd finally made it in front of her, the vampire bent to one knee and took one of her hands in his, caressing it gently. "I'm so sorry." Not only for what had happened in the room, but for what those idiots had said to her. "I hope you didn't take anything those... Bastards" to put it lightly, "said to heart."

He felt her fiddle with the fabric of the shirt and moved back enough to see what her hand was doing. What a naughty little lynx she was, teasing him like that. "Who says I can't still be a romantic?" He purred drinking in the sight as she undid yet another button. "You keep teasing me like this and I'll never make it out of the room." He pressed against her more firmly so that she could know exactly how she was making him feel at the moment. "Poor dead Barry might have something entertaining to listen to as he departs." He grinned rather evilly, the thought amusing him. No compassion for the dead it would appear.

Hearing the soft 'hey' Mitsu tilted her head forward, eyes opening as Desmond came to stand in front of her. As he knelt down taking her hand Mitsu dropped her feet to the ground. Without a word she scooted off the bench wrapping her arms around Desmond's neck to hug him close. She was upset but it was no longer over current events. "I'm okay." She said softly though it wasn't completely true. "What they said, its only words. It doesn't bother me as much." She tried to reassure him. "And about....earlier." She tried to compile her thoughts on the matter quickly. "I trust you. I'm sorry I panicked." Pulling back slightly she tried to smile. "The thought of having a baby...kinda scared me a little."

Riyo paused at his question, glowing eyes slowly dulling. She stifled a moan as his body pressed against hers, a kiss meeting his collarbone before letting her arms drop. "What's the point of being romantic?" She asked simply. It wasn't like he was gonna fall in love with her or something absurd like that. Love. What a ******** joke.
"As for Barry, he's not coming back any time soon. And it's not like he'll decompose within the next hour...So let me enjoy you for just a little while longer. Eventually, I know something will probably separate us. Perhaps sooner, perhaps later... But here, at this very moment, I can relax and smile a little knowing that nothing can take you away."

When those arms came around him, Desmond let out a relieved sigh. Thank God she wasn't mad at him... "Mitsu, I'll never make you worry like that again." Though he wasn't sure how many more times they'd have a chance to do things like that... Or if she'd even want to now. With a swift motion, his hands went to her waist and lifted her up off the bench gently, a soft kiss meeting her forehead. "Lets fill that empty stomach of yours, shall we?"

Klyde smiled rather ruefully as he bent down enough to scoop Riyo up into his arms. It was hard to say how he felt about her words, something about it eased the guilt a little knowing that she didn't expect them to stay together. "The point of being romantic is making that delicious skin of yours blush," He grinned, his cheek nuzzling beside her's as he gave her ear a n**. "As for enjoying me I'm all yours." He purred taking Riyo back into the room for a little more play time together. Barry would just have to wait it out in the closet.

Mitsu smiled a little more fully as Desmond lifted her from the bench. "Sure." She didn't quite want to release her hold but had to since he was so much taller than her. Hand reaching for his she laced their fingers together wanting to hold on for a little while longer. Despite the small mental panic this was still a happy memory she would keep locked away. In the coming months she would need as many as she could get.
