Again, I said "Most" not all. Pretty sure I even specified that. I try not to generalize. But Final Fantasy is some kind of unstoppable force that I will never personally understand.

Square Enix seems like... such a mixed bag.

On the one hand, I find their console games mediocre at best and crime against humanity at worst *Ducks thrown Moogles*.

On the other hand, their portable games have for the most part been Awesome in a Can--FFTA (FFT purists can go away now, I didn't get to play that), Dawn of Souls, The World Ends With You, possibly FFIV...

I'm 28...
I was gaming back in the NES days...a bit older when games like FF4 and 6 (FF2 and 3 on snes) and jrpgs, hell, gaming in general was considered to be for nerds only...
I was popular, gaming was my secret. lol
As I grew older I didn't care anymore but I was for a long while, around the PSX era, one of the few girls who hanged in gaming shops...lol
The word is not really used much anymore tho...
There is so much more female gamersnow...
But for a good while, gaming chick mostly referenced girls who gamed but were not nerds...was some kind of "I'm cool cause I assume that I game and I do a lotsa other stuff!" thing...
(in other words, for boys, if you weren't a stereotyped nerd feek, you were a gamer chick)
eerr...yeah...anyway, word is not much used anymore...

Final Fantasy stopped itself...All old school fan don'Lt want s**t to do with it...long live Lost Odyssey, long live mist walker, and give us a new Shadow heart

FF6 is one of the best game I ever played...was way ahead of it's time, and today still stands as a pretty mature game, with a very up to date system and very deep story and characters...
After that it all went to hel, except for FF9 which was retro all the way...(I'm a FFT purist, but war of the lion, the remake on psp, is even better than the original due to a wonderful translation...)

Final Fantasy the heroes of light is a master piece...of crap...sadly, I expected a lotsa old school from that...
I miss when Squareenix wasn't even squaresoft adn enix, that it was Square and Enix...

I think the term 'gamer girl' is a bit derogatory... Women playing video games is not so rare as people tend to think.

a continual gamer who is a chick, that plays on more than one system, more than one type of game and who generally not only wants to game but almost needs to game--there's a gamer
