Nicholas led a very easy life. Born to the royal family of Charitas, he had never held a job, never done a chore, never cleaned a toilet. No, all of that menial work was done for him, for he was of pure blood, and he had more important things to be doing.
Namely, firing people and canvassing nightclubs for ladies.
Because what better things would a prince have to do?

A tinkling bell rang out through the halls at the Baker mansion.
Nicholas grumbled under his breath, finally rising from his couch to see what was going on. "Who the hell could that be?" He growled, taking his wineglass of blood with him down the stairs to the front door.
With a cacophonous slamming he opened the front doors...

"Hello!" Chiro said. She looked at Nicholas, and smiled. "Can I get a job here?" she asked him.

Nicholas growled slightly, looking the girl over with hypercritical eyes. He was about to refuse her when he remembered his promise to his mother.
"Sure. Fine." He said.

Chiro's saccharine happiness was getting on his nerves, but nevertheless Nicholas invited her into the mansion, shutting the doors loudly behind them.

Chiro was nervous but went smiling into the mansion. She admired everything she saw. Chiro had never been into a mansion, she had lived in the woods all her life

"Don't touch anything." Nicholas growled through his fangs as he led Chiro to the kitchen, walking just a bit too fast for her to keep up.
He was in the worst of moods today but, yet again, he was this way most of the time.
