About
Hello. I'm Spellbound, but you can call me Nat if you prefer. I'm fifteen and live in Colorado.
Ay... what to say... I like to write, and have multiple projects going at the time. I also fancy myself a halfway-mediocre artist, and do draw almost constantly. Yes, even during lectures.
This fall, I'm going to the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington DC. Anyone else who knows about this? PM me.
I have a blog, too
and you can CLICK HERE to look at it!That's about it.
Oh! For what it's worth, I'm...
* Team Bacon.
* Team Zero x Yuki. (In other words, I'm against incest. Oy.)
* Atheist.
* Pro-Choice.
* Democrat.
* Straight, but pro-gay (lesbian, transgendered, bisexual, asexual...) rights.
* And for Colorado's recent teacher tenure law. Yes, I know about this. And I want to be a teacher when I grow up. Explain that!
Spellbound's List Of Things To Listen To Before You Die
Anything by U2. Personally, I like Refugee, Surrender, Bullet The Blue Sky, Running To Stand Still, One Tree Hill, Seconds and The Sweetest Thing (singles mix).
Handlebars, Rise, and Stand Up, all by The Flobots. (One of Spellbound's English teachers knows The Flobots!)
Yellow Sumarine by The Beatles who are, indeed, bigger than Jesus.
If nothing else by Snow Patrol, go get a copy of their album "Eyes Open" and listen to it all the way through track ten. (track eleven is kind of odd. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't like it. I didn't, really.) If you're a sap and a girl like me, you might cry during You Could Be Happy, Make This Go On Forever, and Set The Fire To The Third Bar.
Spiderwebs, Hella Good, Just A Girl, Bathwater, Sunday Morning and Underneath it All, all by No Doubt. (Spellbound thinks that Gwen Stefani looks like Marilyn Monroe)
First, listen to Undisclosed Desires by Muse. Then, go to YouTube and watch the music video. It'll blow your mind. It's like a tech nerd had a really strange drug-induced hallucination. (Also, listen to Supermassive Black Hole by the same band.)
Back Stabbin' Betty, Drones In The Valley, In One Ear and Ain't No Rest For The Wicked, all by Cage The Elephant. They're wonderfully political, but not heavy-handed. Think carefully about the name of the band.
Anything off of Owl City's album "Ocean Eyes". I like do plug into this on my mp3 player and dance around the apartment. My mom laughs at me because of this, probably because I can't dance.
Californication, One Big Mob, Transcending, Falling Into Grace, Walkabout, and Shallow Be Thy Game, all by The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I'm sorry, but Flea is the best bassist known to man.
Go get yourself a copy of Kings of Leon's album Only By The Night and listen to the entire freaking thing. It's amazing. (Fun fact! All of the members of this band are brothers. Not half bad looking, either.)
OneRepublic is one of the best musical children that Denver has ever had. Their song Marchin On (from the album Waking Up) is currently my pep-up song when I'm doing trigonometry homework.
