I had a thought, and bear with me, because they are few and far between for me...
Since all of the short stories (and, If I have anything to say about it, Novels, too) are horror/thriller/just plain creepy tales, writing something for Halloween seemed a little repetetive.
So I started thinking, what about the other people who write almost nothing but horror? Wouldn't they be in the same boat?
So, here's my idea: We play a good old game of Halloween Round Robin, where someone writes a sentence, then the next person, then the next, then the next, until we feel we have successfully collaborated a horror story.
Whad'ya think? I was thinking about putting the actual Round Robin story in the finished writing section, and just general discussion about it here. Y'know, so we can actually decide on it first? smile

That's always a fun way to incorporate everyone and their different ideas.
I was going to write a horror themed short story, though, so I assume those would still be acceptable. Right?

Novasurge That's always a fun way to incorporate everyone and their different ideas.
I was going to write a horror themed short story, though, so I assume those would still be acceptable. Right? Of course. Far be it from me to steal away your creative time. And we can preset characters if you want, but I was thinking we'd just to it line by line, completely random. And then, when it's done, post it as a stand alone so people didn't have to read through a string of threads to get the whole thing. I was also thinking it might involve an evil teddy bear, if we wanted a preset topic.
