The returning cero from Zenon was a powerful enough blast to counter Iago's cero and knock him back, but Iago managed to still be alright. It was at this moment that he noticed Zenon saying something, and it wasn't directed at him. Anytime someone spoke and it wasn't to taunt their opponent, one should worry. Leaping away, Iago watched as the world burst into flames before him. If it hadn't been for Zenon's counter-cero pushing him back in the first place, Iago may have had trouble. Moving back from the huge pillar of fire, Iago pulled out his own Zanpakutou and stabbed it into his shadow upon the ground. With giant pillar of fire creating shadows all over the place, Iago managed to bring the tip out from beneath his opponent, only a small amount, where he released a Cero Doble from underneath him before bringing his sword back out of the shadows. To finish it off, Iago used sonido to get behind Zenon again and blasted another cero at his back.

Although he had heard Iago's words, he chose to ignore them as he was not the type of person to get riled up. The same could not be said of Zenon, however, who ducked out from under his arm and moved towards Iago to retaliate to his words. For the moment, he had no intention of stopping them as he didn't normally interfere with other's business, so he opted instead to continue towards Las Noches. Joliesse took his arm shortly thereafter and firmly told him why she was not leaving. "Whatever..." He muttered, ignoring her actions and most of her words as he was not one to get worked by a girl clinging to him. He was not by any means a man who did not care about physical relationships with women; he simply didn't wear his emotions on his sleeves. As he continued to approach Las Noches, he let Shiva run through his mind, and then after scratching the back of his head with his free hand, he abruptly stopped and turned around to stare at the two fighting Espada. "What a pain..."
Since Joliesse did seem to be letting him go anytime soon, he took his arm from his pocket and wrapped it around her waist, hefted her off the ground and vanished with her as he appeared between the two just as Iago came out of his Sonido. In the span of a half second, Zenos performed a hard back-kick to Iago's face as he fired the Cero, causing it to change direction with Iago, and then vanished and reappeared in the same place, this time facing to the side so that he may plant his foot square on Zenon's back and kick him across the desert. He lowered his foot a second later, released Joliesse shortly thereafter, and then ran a hand through his hair. "Is fighting the only thing you two know how to do? Pathetic; and you wonder why I don't call you for things. Both of you, shape up and go to the Meeting Hall at once. Idiots." With this, he vanished just the same, returning to the door or Las Noches, which he opened and entered, making his way towards the aforementioned place. ...and thus the world is petrified. ►Translations◄

Iago flipped head over heels from Zenos kick. He didn't even see the man until right before the attack, letting him get caught completely by surprise. Righting himself, Iago snarled as Zenos left his message and disappeared again. Looking at the younger brother, Iago sneered and said, "Saved by your big brother. How fortunate."
With that done, he followed after Zenos and stomped off to the meeting hall.
