Rolling his eyes Pol walked past Linn he wasn’t going to listen to her try to convince him that what he was doing was bad for him or wrong or that his alpha wouldn’t like it. Pol had to do this so he knew he was alpha material, that he could take a hit and still move still work towards his goal. Maybe it was wrong of him to act like this, maybe he should… No he knew he should do as Linn suggested, to rest and head out tomorrow, but he also knew that if he rushed through today he could make it back to his pack.
He could! “Come on Linn, if I do pass out then you can rub it in my face about dragging me the rest of the way.” If they rush through half way he can direct her the rest and slow down for his home pack.

"Don't worry, I will. I won't ever let you forget it, if you do." She chuckled lightly, but beneath that small laugh was a concern that she couldn't completely hide. This wolf was half insane, thinking that he could manage the trip. She knew she wouldn't let him live it down... If he survived, that is. If he did, maybe it would teach him to listen to her for once.
She gave a grunt of annoyance as she pushed herself to her paws and followed him out of the den that was given to him for his healing. She didn't bother informing her parents. They probably wouldn't worry, too much. Besides, the only reason she had returned home from her trip early was to care for this numbskull. It would make sense that she would set back out later, right?
