Rock nodded, happy that he could do something for Toki. Get her out of here, she would flourish in Hollow Earth, he just hoped she wasn't afraid of the dark, though there were many points to enter the light, and there were so many more flowers and things on the outside across the river.
"We should go, before... " he remembered suddenly why he couldn't find his father. "Before papa gets home with Jani, I think." he was worried about how Jani would react, being cooped up with Kona again. Jani had been fixated on the twin before the accidents, but now... he didn't know what would happen when they were forced to be together for most of the day. Add in their mother, who never really left the den, and it could spell disaster for anyone with a fragile mind.
It wasn't far, and Rock picked himself up from the ground, careful to be quiet. "Let's go home." he said with a grin.

She was glad to see him happy and that made her feel more at peace. Of course, two pups wandering off could spell danger... But the sister pack couldn't be that far if Rock had gotten there and back in such a short amount of time. And he was right about their father and Jani. It was a deep feeling, in her gut, that they shouldn't be around when he did get back.
She was quickly on her paws and bobbed her head in a puppish, almost playful fashion. It wouldn't be long now and they would be home. To a real home, just like Rock said and she was sure that if there was anyone in their family she could trust, it was most likely him.
"Yeah!" She whispered excitedly, her tail wagging. She, too, was careful to check her own sound levels, but her cheeriness was unmistakable.
