annieduck Icesinger I dont like Den of Devils to much. Most of the time they are just rude. Yes I love Volks dolls and I dont think I will ever own any other kind of Korean doll doesnt make me a Volks Elitist. I just prefer the look of Volks then to Luts or some place like that. 1. It's Den of Demons. 2. Read the forum before you judge, deary. Sure we wank, but it's all in good fun. I have read the forum. I go on it sometimes but i get bored quickly, I get bored reading 'whaa I hate Hounds' or 'Heaths look like s**t *stupid emo icon*'

ciaocat Heh, I just got an account there. It's pretty funny. Frankly, I like the ability to criticize dolls I don't particularly like without being shot down. I do like DOA a lot though; I just think that some people there get a bit carried away with the hobby. I think people do get carried away when they start to call their doll or other dolls sexy! ninja

Only good thing DOD did for me was make me talk to Aie about getting better at my photography. I still lurk there though.

I never checked out DoD but my friend was really amused by it when it first started. Now she despises it.
I rarely remember to even check Den of Angels so I never joined. I've definitely never felt that I fit in at DoA but odds are I wouldn't fit in on DoD either.

I'm the number one poster in DoD.
And Lady Leonardo, give it a chance.
I didn't fit in worth crap on DoA, and thanks to DoD I've made a shitload of friends and I have a lot better of a time then I ever did on DoD.

I like both forums because they each have things the other one doesn't. DoD has it's blatant honesty and DoA for a lot of it's resources. They're both great forums in their own respects.

I'm not sure how much an El with a default faceup would fair on DoD.
Maybe I should join under a completely random screenname so I can lurk before deciding if I want to post or not.

Ok, if anyone is actually going to read this, here I go. I retract my post. You know, the one about "Den of Demons sucks blah blah blah Aimee is teh s**t, yah!" because I did go to Den of Demons a while ago, and I can't say that I agree with it (but then, I can barely remember what I saw...I think I possibly joined...O_O), but I'm no elitist to either forum considering I don't do much talking in it at all. I just use DoA for resources. If anything, it's too big, so people naturally ignore plenty of the posts that they think that they wouldn't be interested in.
And about Aimee, she's not a bad person at all. She's very nice and helpful and she's just trying to keep peace in the forum amongst the many users. I do think at times it gets strict, but overall, it's just to keep people from stabbing each other. I guess I'm still a bit biased in Aimee favor, but I can't just say that I don't have my own opinion.

See, I've never had a problem on DoA. The closest thing to a problem I have is posting in the gallery and no one commenting, but I know that sometimes my pictures aren't that great, and I also know a lot of people look but just don't comment.

People on DoD don't base outright people on what dolls they have, but more of how the people ACT. And thats what I like.
Its nice to actually talk to the people behind the dolls and not have to worry about getting in trouble, or a thread locked for going off topic.
I don't know how many times now DoD has gotten me laughing so hard I cry.

I may join then. Like I've said my friend hates them but she's had a lot of bad experiences with people there and on DoA. Maybe it's because I do so much lurking but I've never had a bad experience anywhere doll related.
And Key's definitely no skank. *L* Even Donovan who will be my flirt is a monogomous flirt... or he will be once they get together. twisted

I will admit we ARE a snarky board.
But even our own dolls are up for grabs on being snarked upon, we've just realized thats how life is and not everyone is going to like the same things we do. So it makes the community a lot more laid back
(Save the Aie drama, dear god that was a drama bomb for the centuary)
And we have a shitload of fun in the aim chat nightly.
