"Alright. Come on. You actually helped us knock out a lot of work." he smiled, taking the other's hand and leading him to a small room where he motioned for the other to sit down as he opened his bag and brought out their lunch of salad with bits of chicken mixed in. "Hope you are alright with vegetables. It's good."

Kyoumu sat down next to Misaki, leaning forward as he inspected the food to be eaten today. At seeing all the leafy things, he made a slight face, thinking of the woodland creatures he used to watch. He remembered the day he tried some of the food they ate. It didn't eat well.
But the salad didn't smell like the stuff he ate from back then. So he was unsure. "Hm...for Misaki...I will try."

Misaki smiled. "If you don't like the salad, I can always just take the chicken out and you can eat that if you like." he offered, eating a bit of the food himself. He liked it, but... Kyoumu wasn't exactly human, so he might not like it at all.

Kyoumu nodded his head, then picked up one of the leafy things with his gloved hands. "Hnnn...Kyoumu try, try for Misaki." He then closed his eyes tight like a child eating medicine. He took the salad leaf and placed it in his mouth. he chewed it thoroughly a few times, then made a disgusted face and spit the disgusting object out and proceeded to brush his tongue clean.

"Ah, not a fan of lettuce." he smiled, taking the bowl and scooping all of the chicken from both of theirs onto one of the lids and then sliding it over to Kyoumu. "There. Eat that for now." he said, proceeding to continue eating the leafy meal.

Kyoumu's face reddened, ashamed at how he acted. "Um...yeah. I can eat mushrooms, but...this is not like any plant from the woods. I have eat lots." He picked up a piece of chicken and munched on it. "...thank you, again, Misaki."
As he finished eating his lunch, he heard a strange noise. "Hm? Misaki...I hear strange noise."

"You don't have to thank me for anything." he commented, continuing to eat before he heard the other's last comment. "What is it Kyoumu?" he asked, trying to listen as well, but hearing nothing.

Kyoumu stood up and started walking around, head tilted up, alert as he tried to track down the source of the noise. "It's...strange...like...metal...and...I smell..." He shivered and ran back to Misaki's side. "Misaki! I smell iron and bang-hurt stuff from the woods!!!" He said, shaking, scared. "Lots of it! Outside with rotten food smell!"

"Iron? Bang-hurt... That must be guns, correct? The things that shot at you before? Maybe they are out hunting again... Do you want me to take you back home Kyoumu? I can always finish up my hours tomorrow if you don't want to be out while this is happening." Misaki asked, trying to calm his new friend.
