Name: Blade Faryn
Sex: Male
Age: 21
Race: Hylian/Shiekah halfbreed
Hometown: Born in Kakariko village – now wandering about
Occupation: Thief
Abilities: Thieving – He’s pretty good at stealing things, whether its pick pocketing or breaking and entering, though his chances of getting away without some sort of plan for the latter are slimmer.
Swordsmanship – He’s able to wield a one handed sword fairly proficiently.
Fire magic – Without the help of his esper, this is fairly weak, being only half sheikah. He basically is only able to set things on fire by touch.. which is rather useful when needing to camp out in the wilderness.
Appearance: [Image] Standing at 5’10”, Blade has long black hair that’s normally tied back into a ponytail as well as dark red eyes. There’s a fairly sizable scar on the upper right part of his chest, as well as a few smaller, lighter scars around the rest of his body. His skin tone is a light tan of sorts. His left ear has two small, loop piercings, and he normally has a round red amulet hanging around his neck. One could usually find him wearing a worn, dark long coat of sorts with a red long sleeved shirt, and a pair of loose, dark pants. He normally has a small pouch or two at his side for carrying money and other useful things for him (such as lockpicks). Blade is almost never seen without his one handed longsword and dagger as well.
Personality: For the most part, Blade is fairly reserved. He doesn’t open up to others all that much, and he has trouble asking people for help if he needs it. While he doesn’t mind the company of others granted they aren’t causing him grief or anything like that, he is usually content being on his own or with just Volvagia. And while he doesn’t ask for the help of others, he will often be more than willing to lend a helping hand to his friends and would go to great depths to aid them if they needed it. One of his favorite things to do is… stealing things, to the extent that he may be a kleptomaniac. It gives him a certain thrill, and he enjoys it more if there is a greater challenge to it. Since he steals for fun or out of necessity only, he makes a point to never steal from the unfortunate if he could help it, which gives him some sense of honor. Speaking of such, he does not enjoy killing, but there are times where he would feel it would be the better route to take (a quick example would be if someone was relentlessly trying to kill him). During those times, he usually won’t think twice about it. Otherwise, if he feels bringing death could be avoided; he will hold back and try not to take a life.
History: Blade never really had a chance to meet his Hylian mother as she had died in child birth, leaving him to be raised by his Sheikah father. Though his father did what he could to bring up the boy, he often had to leave for periods of time to fulfill his duty as a guardian. While there were those in the village who were willing to look over the child, Blade grew to become fairly independent because of it. It was at an early age where signs of his thieving habits began to spring up as he’d occasionally be found with some random objects. Though, at least during this point in time of his life, he usually gave things back after being caught.
While his father wasn’t always around, he still loved him dearly. So when his father lost his life while on the job, it had hit him pretty hard. It was about that time that Blade began to travel about on his own, taking his father’s sword with him to see the world, and to try to take his mind off of the tragedy that happened. He has recovered from it, but times come now and then where he wished he could still be around. Occasionally he will return home to visit some old faces, but the wanderlust in him still remains. During his travels, his skills as a thief have improved, as it was how he managed to keep himself afloat while going from place to place.
Sometime after originally leaving home, Blade had chanced upon an old page torn from a grimmoiré. He had seen a few of these slips offhand and heard of the potential power they held. While not power-hungry, a strong sense of curiosity did drive him here to see what could come about with it. So he went on and attempted to summon an esper, which is what brought a flaming Maonui in the likeness of Volvagia to him.

Name: Volvagia or just "Vol"
Species: Maonui (or magma dragon if you want to go by what’s on his cert)
Gender: male
Age: Adult
Witchery: Dragon’s flame – Blade is capable of sending out and controlling a ‘serpent’ of flames. The head of the serpent has to be within his line of sight for him to have full control of it. Precision and control drops considerably if he can’t see it. In addition, as a sort of passive ability, he raises Blade's resistance to heat and flames somewhat.
Personality: Vol a is a rather proud and confident beast indeed, and he may be borderline arrogant. Being on the protective side as well, he will often not tolerate witnessing his summoner being tormented in any way. If one might have guessed already, he’s also fairly headstrong. He enjoys eating various rocks and for some reason that Blade cannot figure out, he has a fear of hammers. The sight of anyone even holding one will usually cause him to snarl, growl, and possibly make snide comments if the opportunity arose.
