Shisu felt the threads cut into her skin as she hit Raistlyn's weird shield. I need some sort of shield, she thought, That will be my next invention. Rolling backwards, she ended up on her stomach with her head towards Raistlyn. When she looked for him, though, she realized he was right next to her ready to hit the back of her spine.
No way, she thought, pushing off to the ground and rolling into Raisylyn's legs. His kick would miss, she assumed, but if he did not move, her momentum should knock him over. There was no way of knowing for sure, though.

Rai saw the roll moments before it would hit him. With his leg still in the air Rai bunch his mucles in the leg still on the ground and jumped just barely clearing her and forcing him to fall over and giving her an opening to attack him. Rai was way too old for that to happen with such a simple attack, though it had taken him on surprise. As he landed on the ground he raised his two hands toward her and threads once again shot out of his arms at her this time trying to blast threw her body at the joint. If this worked then he was going to force his Forsaken Chakra into her which would start to shut her body down and cause her immense pain.

Shisu grimaced as she rolled into nothing. He must have jumped, she thought, spinning onto her knee and standing up. Dirt was not in her cuts and they were throbbing. None of them had hit major veins or arteries, but due do how fine and deep the cuts were, the blood loss was significant.
As she stood up, Shisu was shocked to see Raistlyn on the ground and his strange rope-like threads shooting at her. This is my chance, she thought. Moving her arm in a throwing motion towards Raistlyn even though nothing was in her hand, she projected two knock-out orbs out of her sleeve, removing the chakra cushion seal on them as they passed her hand.
As soon as the two glass spheres were out of her sleeve, Shisu hit the ground. Throwing chakra quickly into it, she sank down a few feet before traveling backwards to a safer distance. She realized the problem with her plan being that she didn't know what element Raistlyn controlled and it could very well be earth

Rai upon seeing the small orbs fly to him starts to move. The coat which he had been wearing splits down the center as though it were not really attached and changes shape. The shape change was something that Rai had wanted to save until later but still plans in battle never did go according to plan. After only a few seconds went by the coat now resembled what it really was... Wing... black wings. Rai flaps the wings twice and is about ten feet above the ground looking down at the young girl sinking into the ground the orbs passing harmlessly beneath him and landing behind him.
Rai starts to make hand seals. As he finishes them he states to himself, "Lava release: Lava eruption no jutsu." The ground under Shisu will start to heat up as Rai has just used his chakra to manipulate the area under her making it into a geothermal vent that will start to explode with the force of about ten shot guns going off. The only real difference between a shot gun and this is that the shot gun shoots pellets and not hot magma...

Shisu didn't know how the orbs resulted, but when she climbed out of the ground about ten feet from where she had initially been, she didn't see a knocked out Raistlyn. In fact, she didn't see him at all. Spinning around, she looked for an attack coming from behind, but only saw the mountain. That left one of two places. Below the ground or in the air. Looking up, she finally found him. Or... she thought it was him. She hadn't seen many people grow wings in a matter of seconds.
Shisu had looked up in time to see Rai making... hand seals? She wasn't entirely sure. She waited for a jutsu, but saw nothing. After a while, though, she felt a durastic change in temperature. Looking down, she remembered where they were. On a volcano. Oh, crap, Shisu thought, running off of the top of the volcano to keep from getting barbequed.
"Idou Sougan no Jutsu: Nekki Roken," Shisi mumbled, activating her Changing Eye jutsu. Instantly her eyes and the tips of her hair changed from magenta to blue and her vision changed. The ground under her which should have been a green or yellow was a red and in the center behind her it was white.
At this rate, she wasn't sure if she could make it to the somewhat safety of the rim before the volcano exploded.

Rai makes a few more hand seals and the ground in front of Shisu will start to shoot up in front of her in the same way as before. "Diamond Release: Diamond spears no jutsu." This time the Diamonds that shoot out of the ground will try to take out her legs. Rai is not longer playing around and is going for the gold. He has already shown off to many of his jutsu and is now going to take out his frustration on poor little Shisu. Rai's face is now a mask of pure calculated composure...

Shisu slowed her run when she felt the temperature drop back to normal. She must have left the area of the eruption. Looking up, she failed to notice the crystals that shot out of the ground in front of her. One of them caught the backside of her pants and tore out the back, causing her to trip. Catching herself, she scrambled to right herself, and kept running a little further using the chance to try to put together a plan.
She knew she only really had two options at this point. She had found no advantages and was a bad match for Raistlyn. Option number one was to surrender, although she wasn't sure he would accept it at this point. She figured she could escape, but she cringed at that cowardly thought. Her other option was to be an idiot, stay, fight, and die. Option number two, though wasn't desirable either for obvious reasons.
Her decision was made up for her. Giving into her theatricality, though, Shisu tied together kunai and shiruken into intricate webs, occasionally stabbing them into the ground as she ran. Finally, placing her chakra cushions over her mouth and nose to block air flow, she broke four knock-out orbs in her hand creating a small gray cloud around her. Finally, shooting her chakra into the ground, she dug through the earth a few feet, escaping to the side of the mountain.
From Raistlyn's location in the sky, the kunai and shuriken would be visible, connected by visible wires. The way they were strung together formed letters which formed words which said "Thank you".
Of course, Shisu wasn't out of the doghouse yet. She knew there was the chance Raistlyn would follow her looking for closure to the battle.

Rai stops on his pursuit and stares at the words that have been spelled out for him. He cocks his head to the left as he watches her leave the area with his eyes. He lowers himself back to the top of the Volcano.
"So uh... You had enough yet? Why do you run? All you had to say was Uncle...!" Rai yells loud enough for Shisu to hear a chuckle in his voice. Rai had never fought someone who had put that much effort into running away before and had to admit she did have a flair for the dramatic... which Rai could respect as so did he. Rai turns and faces the volcano and laughs as he turns and the wings go back to being his leather looking coat once again. All in all it was a good warm up match. But it looks like it was over now...
(that was a surrender right?)
