I don't think so, but I'm never too sure.
You picked an AWESOME piece! Pachabel's Canon in D Major is one of my all time favorite classical pieces. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. I can't even describe it. I just love that piece. =]
So naturally, Saya feels the same way. >.>

My life exploded and made a giant stressful mess. So I already had writers block, and now there's pretty much no hope of me coming up with something other than "Saya continued playing, hot dog!"
I apologize, I'll try to post when things calm down, but I can't even promise that since I doubt anything will strike me as post worthy then either. Sorry, again. I just can't right now.

Well then I will see if I can come up with something to respond too. That might help with your writers block a bit. Can't help you with the exploding life though sorry sweatdrop

hmmm i guess since it's really just a piece, we could fast forward to the end, since theres not much to write except, 'we played. it was purty.' razz
As far as what instruments would be around, I'm a litttttle fuzzy. Canon was originally written for 3 violins and one bass, but its been altered to suit full orchestras and just about anything you can think of razz It wasn't actually published until 1919 or so, which should leave most instruments available except modern ones. It was written in the 1700's though, so theres some chance they could have it before that, but I doubt raelyn and saya would have ever heard it if it was before the publishing razz
Anyway, 1700's would give you string instruments like violins, cellos, basses, and flutes, oboes and bassoons as far as winds go. You'd also have lyres and harpsichords. Piano came about in early 18th century, so chances are that those are around too. Trumpets are around, and if we are past when it was actually published in 1919, you also have the other brass instruments, even the saxophone. Guitars, obviously, though electrics weren't introduced till 1930's...
Sooooo yea, I'm pretty sure that if you watch any symphony/orchestra video of a classical song, we should have access to pretty much every instrument that's present in it, but I couldn't hope to name them all razz

Just noticed teh reply, glad to see this isn't that dead yet. I will get in my reply tomorrow.
EDIT: In to process of posting now despite being....like a month late xp glad to know that we would have a full accompaniment. ^_^ And your right it will probably be faster to timeskip the class....but then everyone would be perfect and there would be no need to attend it ^_^ I promise not to drag it on tooo long.

Life still exploding. Can't keep up with this stuffs just yet, but I'm getting there. And I was not spending my birthday on gaia, and that was my day off. >.> Sorry guys.
So our time period allows the piece. I guesstimated it to be around the Victorian period, which is in the setting description and everything. That's late 1800s, early 1900s. There shouldn't be any issues instrument wise or anything of that nature.
I'm going to assume I'm not necessary for the remainder of the class since Saya's still standing in the same exact spot and position, violin extended, and that does not seem to be an issue. Guess there wasn't much point in putting aside time to check up on things.

Lovely. I won't waste my time then.
Edit: And sorry for sounding so peeved, but I can't help but be disappointed. I mean obviously I didn't want you guys to wait around forever, that would have been unfair, but still. I mean Saya's just... insignificant at this point. I don't know, can't explain. Just so you guys don't think I'm angry or anything, because I'm really not, promise.
