Now don't pretend you don't know, if you pay attention to the anime then you would know that L is in fact not Japanese.
Also as long as we are on the subject neither is Near, Mello or Matt(suck it up)
The author of the manga that I can't spell and I'm not gonna even try to said that they thought that L would probably be a half English, a quarter Japanese and a quarter Russian.
So yeah POINT IS, people need to stop drawin' him as if he was full Japanese.

I am literally holding the book in my hand right now, and it says exactly this:
'I think of him as a quarter Japanese, a quarter English, a quarter Russian and... maybe a quarter French or Italian? Something like that.'
This is exactly what Tsugumi Ohba wrote.

Some one told me that L is British, or Caucasian
and that Near is Caucasian
and that Mello is German....(idk)
and that Matt is Caucasian too

Well it's true that he's not Japanese, but that doesn't mean he doesn't look Asian, besides isn't that how the actual Mangaka (aka creator of Death Note) himself make him seem that way?
