 Karonashi's eyes softened as he realized why Amara was suddenly feeling off. He reached out and squeezed one of her hands.
"Don't worry so much Virtenan-san. Kakouton is a skilled Jounin, he'll be back here before you know it." It was apparent to him that Amara had developed a connection with the Jounin and him leaving so abruptly had hurt her. "If anything, whatever it is that he had to go deal with is probably very important, or else there's no way he would have just left without giving us something to do." He smiled and let her hand go.
"Have fun there, but please don't drown yourself. Kaku would feel horrible if you got hurt while he was gone. I'll stay here and catch up with Mizax, give you some peace and quiet." The right edge of his lips quirked up in a wry grin.

"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Promise! Have fun you two." Amara played it off as if it were nothing and turned to head out. She decided she would head off to the hot springs to relax until Kaku came back.

Walking in she saw her team had already left, feeling sad for a moment then a bit angery she sat down by the counter and ordered some ramen. When it came she started to eat it. She wondered if her team was training somewhere else. Probaly were relaxing."When red drops stop their flow, death is one more."

Mika walked in from the training grounds she wasnt hungry that much but getting a snack would be great to keep her up.She sat down at the furthest end of the Ramen shop and orderd sweet dumplings.Mika loved sweets if anyone wanted to get her modvated they would hae to promise her something sweet.Her sweet dumplings were sat right down only 3 on the table.She ate each one slowly humming at how great they were. Karonashi leaned back in his seat, patting his stomach. He grinned at Mizax.
"Bit better than what we used to eat huh?" The teen stood up and cracked his shoulders and looked around. He spotted the girl from the bell test, the one he had tossed a bell to, eating sweet dumplings by herself and shook his head.
"Come on over here. Food's better when eaten with other people."

Walking into the little ramen shop, she ordered a bowl of ramen as she patiently sat in her little stool, before bowing to the server as he gave her the meal, licking her lips as she created a steel fork and dug in. She didn't notice or care about any of the people around her, for they mattered not. When it was done she simply sat back, swaying and kicking her feet in the wind as she took a deep breath. "...Ugh..." She was back in the Hidden Villages after such a long time... it felt... odd.

Karonashi tilted his head and glanced to the front of the store as the woman that he had helped at the hospital came in. She was acting brusquely, but from what he had seen of her that was how she normally acted. He shot a quick grin to Mizax before standing up and heading over to her, pausing a short distance away.
"Hello again. How are those burns?"

She put on a smile, and turned to Karonashi, closing her eyes, and with a sweet expression, she questioned him, "May I ask what you mean, sir? I've not been burned in my life." She then opened her eyes and gave him a death glare, as if to say, "shut up," for she was ashamed of that whole ordeal. She recognized this man, yes, the man who helped her, and yes she owed him, but her public image mattered more than some petty answer. Scarlette Strife will never be burned. Scarlette Strife will never lose a fight. Or at least, that's what she wanted everyone else to believe.

The red haired shinobi blinked and shrugged his shoulders. Not everyone made sense - if she wanted to try pretending she had never been caught by those damn black flames, he wasn't about to shatter her image.
"Ah, I must have you mistaken for some other beautiful lady. I apologize miss." He bowed slightly and headed out of the ramen shop - by pretending never to have been burned, she was also pretending that they had never met, and he was just going to play along with that to the fullest.

She knew this boy already. Even the street rats knew the rules of the game. As much as it brought a smile to her face that he called her beautiful, it brought a frown that he so readily walked off. No one walked away from her. Following him from behind, she yelled, "Wait mister!" Making sure she got everyone's attention around her with her yelling, and the pressing of her two fingertips, a forced blush creeping across her face, she asked, "Did you... did you call me beautiful..?" This was how she liked it... Now everyone would have to recognize her. They'd think, "Aww, well she is pretty..." ..And that's what she dearly wanted.

Karonashi paused and turned around, amusement dancing along the edges of his lips. He had dealt with her before - had already wised up to the tricks that she played for attention, even if she hadn't really needed to demand attention the last time they had seen each other.
"I do believe that that was implied in my statement, yes." He chuckled and glanced around the shop, noting that many people were watching them.
"But why waste time talking to a street kid like me? I'm sure someone as breath-taking as you has adoring fans somewhere else." His blue eyes sparkled with mischief as he turned his gaze back to her.

She smiled as he said all of this, duely noting that he was still playing this little game with her. She slowly walked to him, and whispered in his ear, "...Karo, let's get the hell out of here. I'm bored of this crowd." She wouldn't say anymore, and she'd leave the little gossipers, and the eavesdroppers to their own curiosity. However, she had one more thing to say... "Rats don't play on the streets. They stick to the attic." What she meant; was that true rats were people who did mischevious, and bad deeds hidden away from everyone, not out in the open. A thief, a brawler, a beggar... none were rats... they were worse.

"Well then, I suppose I'm worse than a rat." The shinobi chuckled lightly and shook his head. Living on the streets after his father's death, he had done what he needed to to survive when no one would hire him or take him in. He slid through the crowd and placed a kiss on Mizax's forehead.
"Don't be a stranger so much Miz. And don't let life get you down again alright?" He squeezed her shoulder before wandering out of the shop, and ambling in the direction that Scarlett had gone.
