Tsubari noticed the extra food she grabbed and chuckled. Looks like I am going to be visiting for a while, cause I don't think she eats that much. She seemed to be upset again, and he enjoyed it. "Right behind you," he said as he stepped up semi close to her. "Besides, I have to make sure you don't put anything in the food you are sharing."

Erie shuddered strangely as he walked close to her, any closer and he'd be brushing up against her, she swallowed uncomfortably "Why would i put something in it? i could just get Erisk to slobber all over it, she seems to like slobbering over you" she said snapping, "and anyway, who said i was sharing" she tried to cover the slight break in her voice at his proximity.

"And Erisk can slobber all over me.. though..." He left the words hanging there. "Besides its different when she slobbers on me. I don't eat it." He replied with a calm voice.
He shook his head. It didn't seem to matter what he did or said, she was moody with him. Of course most of what he did was to get her attention, even if it's just a glare.

Erie sighed, it seemed to take forever to reach her little living space, with Erisk's kennel not far from her bed, she sat on a stool and placed the tray of snacks on the small table, she didn't need much as long as she had Erisk, somewhere to sleep and a roof over her head. She blinked a few times and rubbed at her eyes "Tsubari ....." she trailed in a strange voice, not one of her usual tone with him, she realised her mistake and grabbed a sweetroll, biting into it to stop her foolish mouth from saying anything more.

He watched Erie for some sign of what was wrong. "Want me to toss these to Erisk? Give you some time to calm down maybe?" Tsubari didn't hear the catch in her voice, but watched her stuff the sweetroll in her mouth.
Without waiting for a reply, he started to move to the Wher's kennel.

Erie shook her head when Tsubari offered but her mouth was too full of sweetroll to protest further, especially as he ducked into Erisk's kennel. "one day she's going to be in a bad mood ..... he needs to stop doing that" she thought. Swallowing the rest of the food in her mouth "Tsubari.. just be careful, i know she likes you but ...." she almost sounded concerned for his safety.

Tsubari smiled at the warning. He poked his head back out, "No worries. You think I walk all the way in there?" He rolled his eyes but there was a gleam in them. "Finish your food, and Erisk will get some tossed to her. If you are this moody, she can only be ten times worse."

Erie was stumped for a reply, so instead she gave Tsubari an annoyed glare. "I am NOT moody" she replied, though it was clear she was. She grabbed the food and started to eat it carefully, slowly she observed Tsubari without him noticing... hopefully
Erisk growled a warning.. until she realised that it was Tsubari and Hers .. she settled into a mere soft hiss when Tsubari came close to her kennel, it was daylight and she didn't like being bothered but he brought something that smelled good so she lay down, her tail and a very low rumble betraying her temper.

"You are moody. Looks good on you." He muttered as he went to toss the food to Erisk. Tsubari heard the warning and waited til she was calmed down enough to let him get a little closer. "I was right. Well here is some food for you girl. I know it's daylight out and you want to sleep, so I will let you be."
The young weyrbrat moved back to where Erie was eating. He was about to say something smart, but for once he held back as he saw that she was actually eating the food.

Despite herself Eris smiled at the tone Tsubari used with her Wher and she felt a slight pang that he didn't have one himself, he seemed to be good with the beasts but he still held onto the hopes of a Dragon, she knew that his chances were just as good as other candidates but she couldn't help wishing that he would give it up and go into Wherhandling, train properly and get somewhere rather than being in limbo waiting for a Dragon.
She still had the smile on her face as she ate, and so lost in her thoughts she didn't notice Tsubari looking at her right away, when she did notice though, she shook her head a little and leaned back a little, trying to act casual. The food, and the hot Klah was reviving her though and her thoughts were becoming a little less scrambled but at the same time it made her comfortable and she wasn't sure she ever wanted to be comfortable that she was here, with Tsubari, practically alone together. "Got something on my face?" she asked when she noted that he had been about to say something but refrained.

Tsubari was surprised at the tone Erie was using. It wasn't like them to be so friendly sounding, but maybe it was the food and Erisk settling down helped. He looked a little closer at her face, "Yeah. Right about here.." His hand raised to wipe a small little, practically invisible piece of food, away from her face. Before he touched her, he dropped his hand. There was no way on Pern that he would do that just to get slapped. "It is on the right side of your mouth."
