My first RPG until about 3 years ago was Pokemon Yellow. I was only allowed to have handhelds and as such, really only played those games. Then I got me a PS2 and, admittedly, Ar Tonelico was the first RPG I played on that system. I only own the Kingdom Hearts series and Ar Tonelico 2 as far as RPGs go to this day. Someone educate me on the joys of other series' please!
The .hack series is awesome! A really fun RPG in the form of a simulated MMORPG.
The Final Fantasy Series for the most part is pretty good, too.
And I loved Pokemon Yellow! But it wasn't my first. FFVI all the way! *starts grumbling about Locke dumping Terra for Seles again* Grrrrr... LOL
