Seijiro smiled at Riko's enthusiasm. "Youthful exuberance... it's always such a pleasure to see." Seijiro didn't speak for a few moments, allowing his words to form in his mind leaving a slight silence for a few seconds before he spoke in a calm and thoughtful manner. "Well, try not to think of me any different then you would someone else. I may the current Clan Head, but I'm just a Konaga like many others. I exist merely to document our lives and pass on my knowledge to the next generation. So it is truly MY honor that I would be able to do so with you and Shinji."
By this time, the nurses had finally stabilized Shinji and had done all they could for now. Certainly, he could use more time healing, but the nurse had run out of chakra and was rather exhausted after having to fight back against Shinji's chakra in order to heal him. Informing Seijiro of the matter, he thanked the woman and then moved up to sit on the side of Shinji's bed, bringing himself up on it completely, sitting indian style on the mattress at the foot of his son's bed. "Well Shinji, it looks like you're doing well, but the nurse still says you need to stay here. So, we will all meditate together... it will make everything easier for you in your condition to have two Konaga near you."
Motioning for Riko to join them and sit on the bed, Shinji sat up, pulling himself up to a seated position like his father slowly, being careful not to undo any of the hard work the nurses had done within him. With his father present, Shinji felt almost nothing, his body reveling at the rare opportunity to b without the agonizing pain. Still however, twitches of it lingered within him. Being his father's son, he would adjust to the difference quicker then Riko would, but for now, he would be able to meditate much easier tonight. Shinji and his father then assumed the same seal and began to meditate, their minds and thoughts striving for calmness amidst the storm of their body's chakra.
