Personality: Inwardly, Shard is constantly in a shifting state. Her emotions are never really stagnant. As far as the world can see, she'll shift between reclusive and slightly happy, no further than that. She is quick to trust, which many think to be a fault of hers. Shard personally considers it one of her greatest assets.
History: Before losing her life, Shard was known as Sarah, a name she threw away as soon as she could. She was an average girl, growing up with no extraordinary circumstances. Sarah went to a normal school where nothing strange really happened, got average grades, and never really left her hometown. In time, she began to grow weary of the normalcy of her life, craving some excitement to break her free from the monotony that it had become. Upon realizing this, she packed her things and left home, vowing not to come back until she had satisfied her desires. She wandered away for nearly a full week before finding what she thought would be her haven. Arriving in a large city, she had found her new home. She did anything she could to break free from her past, constantly looking for a new fix. Day after day, her new life began to take her closer and closer to a breaking point that she wasn't prepared for. When this day finally came, she barely even realized as she was taken to a new haven, Soul Society. Now, having arrived at the end of her life, and the start of her death, she has vowed once more to make a change. She has decided never again take things to the extreme she had before, choosing to strive to be the best at her own level before moving to the next.

Description and/or Appearance: Before being released it looks like a standard zanpakuto, though the blade is on the opposite side.
Zanpaku-tô Spirit: A large Black Tiger with white stripes.

Shikai: Sakibou Kodora
Shikai Release Incantation: Howl, Sakibou!
Shikai Description: The blade shortens and divides into three, forming over Shard's right hand and forearm. It resembles a tiger's claws, though elongated.
Shikai Ability: When released, Shard's agility increases greatly, allowing her to nearly match that of a shunpo with her standard steps.
Her senses also grow exponentially when Sakibou is released, giving her an advantage when fighting from afar.

Bankai Name: Oodora
Bankai Appearance: Shard's bankai form is similar to her shikai, though the blade expands itself more. It stretches across her back, and down her other arm and legs. This form forces Shard to take on a bestial style of movement, keeping on all fours limbs.
Bankai Description: In addition to the sensory amplification of her shikai, any wound caused by her claws will become unable to be fully healed.
