I agree with zurine. I mean its sort of like not wanting people tracking mud through your house... you request them to take their shoes off and leave them inside by the front door. Some people don't like being barefoot in general, but it's the host's wishes. After all, no one is going to get harmed by going barefoot(or not smoking) in the house.
Your home, your rules, and I wouldn't appreciate someone bringing such toxins inside my home. smile
I wouldn't be strict about it if my company and I were outside through. Just sit on the side of the friend where the wind carries the smoke away from me.
Not to mention, smoking isn't very rebellious(I know that's why some people do so) when most of the rebels do it. Why not be anti-consumerism? Now THAT'S rebellious. razz
