Annie of the Bananie Fiyeress Hey im a male, unlike my avatar. Im new here, I play guitar, sing, act, skateboard.. I sing in a professional choral scholar group Were touring to Nova Scotia this summer.. My ultimate aspiration is to play the role of Fiyero in Wicked on broadway. As for credits i've done.. Noyes Fluud (Noah's flood musical) The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (I was Charlie for those of you who know the book.. I was a little sad because I didnt want a main role but I was NEVER off the stage the whole show..) Dear Santa (I played a few roles, Dirk, Michael, Tommy) School House Rock Live Junior (Good experience -- fun musical. I played George and sang three is a magic number among others) I've also done 3 other shows and continue to do more.. Thanks biggrin heart Wicked heart I would LOVE to play Elphaba, it wouldn't even have to be broadway. *gets all dreamy eyed* I think I love you. ^_^Seeing as Wicked is such a success on Broadway.. I think you would be too old by the time it is off broadway and schools and local theatres can buy the rights to do the show.. I dont know how they would do it unless they had an incredible theatre like gershwin..

I've been in musicals before, but with everything else in my life right now, I didn't think I could handle it this year. I did try out, but only for the experience of auditioning. My school is doing Fiddler on the Roof next year though.... eek I can't wait! whee
We don't have District, but we do have All State. I tried for that, but I missed it by .2 of a point. I got a 94.4 and hte cutoff was at 94.6. Darn! I am going to the KMEA Festival at MSU this Saturday though, to preform my solo. smile Fun!

The musicals I can remember that my high school has done are Oklahoma!, South Pacific, and The Wizard of Oz because we only do them about every other year, and this year we're not doing one because our auditorium is being torn down and rebuilt sweatdrop

Annie of the Bananie My choir did Les Miserables last year. From the perspective of a drama kid, it was very... intersting. No one really wanted to do it until it came to be opening night when they realized Hey! This is Fun! and were glad that we had worked so hard on it. It was intresting doing a show whos cast was mainly people who had never acted before. Also we do District every year, its the first level in the All State Auditions. My District Audition was in September, I made 11th chair.(they accept the top 60) Then I advanced to Region and I made 11th chair again...(they accept the top 20) So I advanced to Pre-Area, stunk up the place, made 14th chair (they accept the top 5) and therefore didn't advance any farther. I love the music from Les Miserables!
