i played bass clarinet since 4th grade.when started to play people always said that i played the saxophone but i always said bass clarinet. i know alot of people dont march with a bass clarinet but my middle school happened to march with one so that was my marching season insturment for 7th&8th grade. when i got to my first high school band experience i was placed on clarinet because they didnt march with bass clarinets scream ... i was so mad but i got over it soon.

I am a bass clarinetist! Or I was before I went to college. The bass clarinet was a school instrument so it stayed when I graduated high school crying
