Spider the bounty hunter there really should be something worth more then just 1 item at the end of the game for each guide...it's kinda not worth doing it agreed. My love of airships won't keep me doing this for much longer. Quote: Your rendition of "More Than a Feeling" causes a flock of geese to commit suicide by crashing into your ship. haha.

The one game I played I died first, then Sweden (I think he gave some of his food to Finland...), then everyone else because of a ghost. I'm just going to buy the Medals I want since it won't let me hunt.

I like the event forum this year. =o I met that Gaia artist there and have met a lot of new people~  The event itself is fun, and I really only want Louie's event item, but I want to finish all of them just so I can say I did. >=o I've been taking screenshots of my game and the random events, lawl. I intend to make them into a random sig at some point.

As a game, very fun. I'll actually be sad to see it go. It's like the prom DDR: fun to play, but you can't help scream bloody murder at it when you're trying to get something accomplished.

I totally, completely, and utterly failed at playing Oregon Trail back in school. xP
And it's super hard for me to hunt because I have a tiny notebook laptop, so the hunt screen is too big to fit on my screen so I can't see it all. xO
....I'm just gonna buy the stuff, or something.

elizabeth jude Carl killed my whole party. They weren't joking... emo D: I'm afraid to try it with him now.
...my crew members seem very prone to chasing moths and falling to their demise. Seriously. Can I just get through ONE game without someone randomly dying?! D<
Agreed about the reward though--there should really be something more special. Harumph.

For those who haven't tried yet, here's the order of difficulty, easy to hard: Diedrich, Sam, Edmund, Louie, Carl.
@ Kira: Louie was my lowest win score, I feel your pain.

Is there a minimum score in order to actually win a game? (I still keep losing even if I finish, lol.)Never mind. Just checked my game stats and now it's saying I've won one of my four games, which I'm assuming was Diedrich since that's the only medal I received. edit: AAAAAAHHHHHHH! SO MAD RIGHT NOW. My last crew member died just 10 miles from meeting the Demi-god, with Louie as my guide. D=

meh... looking at the items you get, the only one i liked was Louies.

If anyone's still having a difficult time with it, AnonGirl88 has sent me to give you her tips.
Remember the important thing is to make it to the demigod. If you need to spend all your starter loot on food/ammo, just know that there are plenty of opportunities to find more loot along the way.
Stay in the forest and build up on food instead of going through the desert.
One strategy, and this seems to be the best way to get through Carl, is to kill your crew off as early as you can: meager rations and fast pace. Be careful though, because your own character isn't neccesarily going to be the one with the best health, so keep an eye on it. You may need to let one live long enough to heal yourself before trying to off them.
On the subject of Carl, don't shoot the blue deer/elk/whatever you want to call them. Stick to bison, bears, and big-feet for your protein needs. Diedrich on the other hand doesn't care if you shoot Grunnies.
