Ander Dre Pancras "Is that your blood?" "...Some of it." Ander knew it. He just knew it. There was going to be no give on either side of this argument. This girl was a punk who disrespected authority and thought she had the right to do as she pleased because now she had a big bad dragon to back her up. And that was not going to fly. Especially not if she was in any of his classes.
"The respect that is due me. Not the respect you personally feel is due me. Never assume anything. You'll be made a fool of faster than you can retaliate. he said in a monotone. He could feel Fidel on edge, and raised his hand to beckon the dragon forward. The large golden beast obliged, and nudged his stall open in order to move forward and stand behind his Pact mate. He stood a good nine feet taller than Ander, who was tall himself, and stared down at the girl with a slight apology in his eyes. Of course, he had to agree with Ander a little bit. The girl was stepping over the line. But his Pact mate was too. It was not okay for him to use his ability like that. Especially not on the first day. And yet, he could totally understand why everything had happened the way it had. This was a man, with his personal respect on the line. And Ander was not the kind of person to let anything detriment his level of personal respect.
Don't push it, Ander. You've just won. Don't beat a dead horse. Fidel warned, recognizing the young woman before him as the one who had complimented his wings earlier. He felt a bit worse now. This girl wasn't all disrespect. There was more to her. But Ander was far too upset to listen to reason at this point. There was no point in trying to get him to realize what Fidel could see. A point that was really driven home by Ander's next words.
"I know all I need to know about you already." he said, his voice still void of all inflection. He was so done with this whole situation. He wanted this girl's body heat out of his sights. He didn't like the expression on her face one bit. Or the obnoxious sound of laughter coming out of her mouth. It was grinding on his nerves. Moreso than her presence.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 4 Post: 5 Yep. This guy was just like everyone else back at home; too preoccupied with the stick shoved up where the sun don't shine to pay attention properly. Oh well, she was just going to have to change that, slowly and painfully. It was like trying to break a rock or something; time was needed. Clearly filtering out part of his conversation, particularly because emphasizing the point that she had no sense of respect for those who try bossing her around was a waste of breath, she was more surprised by the end of his statement. Giving him a rather strange look, she veered away from the actual argument to another minor detail. "If you don't think I'm a fool already, then something is more wrong with your head than mine. Personally, I believe it's far more liberating than following the rules to a T. People don't go against your sort because they feel intimidated. Since that game doesn't work with me, I have the excellent privilege of showing you exactly the sort of respect you deserve." It was true of course, and a detail she would have thought was clearly obvious since she had purposely ticked off a teacher and was forced to spend the past few minutes with him getting lectured and arguing details.
Terra found it extremely hard not to get even more angered when she saw the golden dragon lumber up. Not that she had any issues with the beast. In fact, getting to see him even closer than before brought out that odd mixture of admiration and curiosity again. She had no problems with him in the least, which was why she was so upset when she saw the instructor gesturing for him to come forward. Who dare he say that she was crossing a line when he was doing something, which in her eyes, was considerably worse? Again, the switch between an almost content state to downright furious was flipped. She stepped closer, remaining a good three feet away but to show she was not going to put up with all this nonsense. A shredding noise told her that her knuckle bones were now in the shape of claws with her lack of attention to them, but that would be dealt with later. "Let me spell this out for you. I get it that you have a problem with me. I've got no issues with it. However, if you even think of dragging others into this I will hurt you and I won't hold back." She looked at the dragon, offering a slight smile before hounding in on the teacher. Selda was murmuring words int he back of her head, fueling her even further when she thought that her pact beast was going to wind up in danger because of this. "He has nothing to do with this, nor does my partner, or my friends, or anyone else I might be associated with. So if you make a judgment, an accusation, or harm them in any way and I find out it's because of this, you better start sleeping with one eye open. Figuratively speaking."
Feeling quite refreshed after that particular rant, she let out a sigh. She slid her hands out of the remainder of her pockets and physically pushed each protruding bone into place. Terra was sickened by the indecency of the fact his partner had been brought forward during their spat. That was, as Selda would put it, highly undignified. Looking up at the dragon, she now fully ignored the professor. The furious tone simmered, although she was holding a deep resentment to the other guy. "Sorry you had to go through that. I still like you perfectly fine. Take care of Selda and me during the year, ne?" She turned her head slightly, looking behind them and seeing her friend nearby. From the look on her face, she guessed that Cassandra had stopped by and saw the best part of the spat. Her heart dropped to her stomach, keeping the teacher in sight. She inclined her head towards the exit and started walking off to where they planned on meeting, praying that Cassandra would be left alone by the teacher with a few problems. She kept listening intently just in case.

Out Of Cards: Holy crap I'm alive. Hurray for the excitement ^_^. Glad our newcomers are getting a warm reception.
Though only a short time had passed, both Demetri and Tarick had found their way to the stables previous to the arrival of others. Tarick was busying himself with the delectable meats provided to him, whilst Demetri sat leaning against the inside frame of the stable door. Very few words had exchanged between them during this time. Mostly in relation to their new found acquaintances and the supposed plans for later. Though if anything they were idly passing the time before Demetri would take his leave to sedate the ever growing pain lingering in his gut.
While Demetri mindlessly gazed at both the feast at hand and current surroundings again and again, Tarick couldn't help but feel the least bit of discomfort at his mates ever growing restlessness. Tarick took a moment to pause from his delicacy to address Demetri like a stressed father. "...You need not wait for me to finish. Besides, seeing you there twiddling your thumbs is starting to make me nervous. Hard to enjoy my meal with you drooling over there." Demetri cocked an eye at Tarick in confusion but realization soon swept over him as he realized how much time he had been sitting there staring at nothing. Demetri calmly rose to his feet, using the frame of the door to support him upon his ascent. He took a moment to brush off the small traces of hay that lingered upon him before fiddling with the tiny hinge that was supposed to keep these beasts in. Much like Tarick before him, Demetri looked at the flimsy device and mused to himself how easily even he could break this thing off. Calmly he slid his way through the door, locking it into place behind him. Lazily he rested an elbow on to the door and chimed back at Tarick. "If it will please the court than I'll take my leave. Don't go eating to fast now. Don't want to miss out on anything going on today because you have a 'stomach ache'". Something reminiscent of a scowl sounded from within the pen but no remark followed suit. Demetri gave a said his goodbye with a lazied salute before digging his hands into his pockets and strolling towards the exit.
He knew not how it was he managed to go by both Terra and Cassandra on his way back through the stables, though their presence went unheard of. Or it would've been had it not been for the slight bit of commotion his ears detected just before leaving the stables. He slowly turned on heel to catch sight to none other than his 'devious protector' instigating terror in another helpless victim. Demetri chuckled to himself as he buried his face into his palm. Alas her target for this endeavor, seemed to be more than willing to return the favor. Demetri took his post for the festival, leaning against a nearby stable as the chaos ensued. However, as the sparks really began to fly, it seemed it would come to a close, probably no doubt due to some unseen voice of reason. Yet with no harm done, Terra took her leave, her eye falling upon a nearby passerby whom Demetri instantly recognized to be Cassandra. Breathing of small sigh of relief, Demetri slowly strolled his way closer to the two girls, no doubt knowing they were on their way towards the aroma of hunger. As he drew closer, he pitched forward a snide remark towards his mischievous friend. "Boy oh boy...I was gone maybe twenty minutes and your already starting trouble again. Cassandra I may have to get a leash for our lovely playful friend of ours." Demetri had mused jokingly yet a small hint of a seriousness lingering behind his words. Week: 4 Post: 1

 C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: Lol, I know right! xD Nice to get a little bit of action in. ~_^ Sorry my response is so short. I can't think. >_< Lolz. I can't tell you what it {really is}, I can only tell you what it feels like And right now there's a steel k n i f e in my windpipe I can't breath but I still fight while I can fight As long as the wrong feels right its like I'm in flight
Ladon continued eating his morning meal in silence. The worry that settled deep into his gut, did not fade however. It was not often that Cassandra found herself either in trouble or witnessing it, and for the that Ladon was happy about. He did not want to end up watching her like a newly hatched dragon. He was content in their pact relationship. He was happy that Cassandra could fend for herself, but he knew that she'd need a little extra help when it would come to other human's pact mates. Ladon continued his meal, trying to put his mind at ease.
It was amazing. It was absolutely amazing. Seemingly as soon as the tiff had begun it was beginning to be resolved by the one who started it. Eh, well it might be resolved. It was an awkward way how things were running. Did Terra get a bit scared? Was she sucking up to the man's very large and dangerous pact mate? Cassandra was unsure as she stood in silence, her arms wrapped around her chest.
Terra made an interesting speech, and in the end Cassandra began to wonder how the teacher would act. His pact mate would more than likely not do anything, right? This man wasn't that crazy to chase after Terra. Right? While being lost in though, she was suddenly brought back to reality when a familiar male voice touched her ears, jumping a little since she didn't expect it. Looking in the voices direction her deep blue orbs landed on Demetri. Hearing his statement brought a small smile to her lips, mainly because it was true."Geez, when did you pop up? I did not even see you come in. Then again Terra and I did part ways for a bit. I only just got to this point myself... Of course, this is what I get to see." Cassandra glanced at the teacher and his pact mate and then to her friend walking down the isle way to the outside world to wait for her."I kinda' have to agree with you on that one though. I think we may have our hands full with her, probably all year as well." Cassandra slowly took a step forward and nodded into the the direction of the entrance, a signal to Demetri."Would you like to join me and our traumatizing friend for some grub? Seems like all of our pact mates are eating I guess it's only natural we should follow suite, right?" Cassandra gave a simple smile to Demetri for a moment as she stopped mid stride to wait for his answer. For a second she looked back to the teacher, pondering if he would lash out at them for being in the vicinity, and or being associated with Terra. Looking back to Demetri, her smile returned,"You don't have to... I mean if you had plans there's no hard feelings of course. I just figured it'd be nicer than traversing that hell alone. It looked to be quite crowed when we first brought Ladon and Selda inside for their meals." Cassandra continued waiting for a response.High off of love, drunk from my hate It's like I'm {huffin'} paint and I love it, the more I suffer I suffocate and right before I drown, she r e s u s c i t a t e s me She ********' hates me and I love it.

Ander Dre Pancras "Is that your blood?" "...Some of it." Ander closed his eyes for a moment in agitation. She was really trying to outwit him. She really was. '...exactly the sort of respect you deserve.' How trivial. How so unoriginal for someone her age. She was going to teach him a lesson, was she? Show him that she was not someone to be messed with? That he should be afraid of her? Such a childish thing to say. It was one thing to be headstrong and confident. It was quite another to be so belligerent in the face of authority that it was less of a threat and more of just an obnoxious buzz in the ears of those with it. However, given her gaudy show of fighting spirit, he was left with the rather disheartening knowledge that she would be one of his students. He would be dealing with her for an entire year.
Why had he become a teacher again?
Ander opened his eyes slowly and resumed watching the girl's facial expressions. She had been so excited just a moment ago about the prospect of making him upset. And the minute Fidel approached the pair her expression turned to one of rage again. He raised an eyebrow at her, his mouth still pressed into a hard, flat line of tension. Oh, so that was what she thought this was all about? Well there she went again. Assuming things. And making a fool out of herself. The shredding noise coming from where her hands were interested him slightly, but not enough for him to ask about it. Didn't need to make her feel more interesting than she really was. As she stepped forward, he leaned in slightly as if really interested in what she had to say.
"He has nothing to do with you, you're right. Nor will he ever. He's here to make sure I don't kill you. To restrain me, if need be. Now run along." he said softly, pulling back so he was standing straight and turning to place a hand on Fidel's front leg. An unspoken understanding passed through the touch and the golden dragon nodded to his Pact mate. When the girl spoke to him, he turned to look at her. His large black eyes flickered from Ander to the girl, and then back to Ander before he turned and walked behind his Pact mate back towards the back exit of the stables. He wasn't about to pick sides here. Truth be told, he didn't agree with either of them. They were too similar. The girl reminded him of Ander before he had become so immersed in the military. A little less subtle about her desire to cause trouble, but similar nonetheless. But knowing his Pact mate, the poor guy was going to be really really pissed about the whole affair for hours. And they were going to have to go incinerate something in order to blow off some steam. Knowing the man, he would prefer to incinerate someone. They'd have to do their best with abandoned buildings and large trees. Which was anti-climactic, even for Fidel.
Don't let it get to you.
Bit too late for that.
That's what I thought. You should at least grab your bagel.
....Yeah.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 4 Post: 6 Apparently the teacher still did not see the point behind what she said, but whatever. She was quite sure that she had already left a stinging impact on his temperament for the time being. Slowly, but surely, she would have her day. All she needed was the time to watch and find out what grated on his nerves the most. Attacking his respect directly was a good start, but she would need something else to land an impact. If she had any say in it as all, this year would be his living nightmare. With said target walking away with his pact beast, she was sorely tempted to throw something more on the pointy side of things at him, but refrained from doing so. Again, she did not want to get the golden dragon involved, whether it was for her sake or his. That was not by any means fair if either party had a handicap. Selda was right; the best revenge was the one extracted over a slow and painful duration. This year, she now had something to look forward to in classes. If all went well, maybe the straight-laced fellow would snap in the middle of the class. Now that would make for a good story to tell. Turning around, she jogged back to the others with food being primarily on her mind. Getting worked up made her hungry. "Prepare for a year of misery you arrogant son of a-" "That's enough." "...Fine."
Terra, having heard Dimitri arrive and comment on the confrontation, seemed to be in much higher moods when she processed the idea. Hah, a leash? That was an interesting concept, but it was the first time she heard anyone say that out loud. Well she certainly could not let such a good opportunity for an interesting event pass her by. The young woman focused back on him, looking at her recently declared friend with an impish grin. "Hm, does it come with a collar too? I had no idea I was a part of your kinky fantasies, but I'm flattered. Tell you what, either one of you manage to do that successfully and I'll go around barking and calling myself a dog while I'm at it. Might as well get into character. Which name do you think fits me better? Princess, Missy or Lady?" She winked and wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, but was definitely joking around. Although, it would take a painful amount of effort to get that up close and personal, so maybe she would entertain that idea out of good sport in the exceedingly rare case that they managed to achieve that. Pfft, they could try if they were really that interested, but it was doubtful.
Her attention now changed back to Cassandra, putting on a mockery of a hurt expression. "Aww, you too? I'm not that bad. That guy's just an exception because he happens to have the kind of character I hate the most, but his pact beast is alright. At least he was decent enough to apologize for the b*****d." She mentioned nothing more of her recent declaration of war against the professor, more intrigued by the notion of eating. Terra remained a little ahead of the group as they continued their trek out of the stables, walking backwards so that she was still facing them. When the invitation was brought up, she nodded in agreement, seeming to like the idea. "Yeah, it's easier to move in a group. We won't bite or anything either. Scout's honour." Placing one hand over her heart and the other in the air, she chuckled and glanced behind her. The outside entrance to the cafeteria fell into view the closer they reached the exit. The crowd there was hardly any better than before. That would just have to be adjusted a little bit if that was the case.

Out Of Cards: Sucks I don't think I'd be part of the combat class. I'm assuming that's dragon specific? And grr for short response y.y
A brow cocked upon his forehead while a wicked grin crept along the lining of his lips. The fact she took an almost impish liking to the idea was a little hysterical. "Well if your keen on the idea then I'm certain it can be arranged. Tell ya what, you and Selda train and I'll promise Selda I'll help you train to be a good girl." Demetri cooed out a sinister chuckle behind his grin. His grin slipped away as a rather irritated voice crawled in his thoughts. "You best not be thinking of putting one of those on me...I believe I'd have some fresh charred meat for dinner tonight if that's what you planned." "...Hush you..."
He turned his attention back towards Cassandra. "To be honest I didn't happen to see either of you while I was in here either. Got to give credit to our feisty friend. Had it not been for the commotion she started, I probably would've walked on through here without taking notice." Sheepishly he rubbed the back of his head, trying to remember if he had seen either of them prior to this moment, yet nothing came to mind. Perhaps he had been to lost in thought to take notice to begin with. Either that or the sound of Tarick's growling stomach distracted him. "However, I'll take you up on that food offer. Was on my way there myself after dropping off that big oaf of a friend. But aye, certainly would do to have some company than to risk sitting alone and be worrying about my 'friends' from earlier showing up. But first..." He brought his hand up to his chin and slowly circled Terra, studying her a moment. "Which stable do we bring her back to? Or is she coming along with us?" Week: 5 Post: 1

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Out Of Carrots: I would assume you still would be, since pretty much anyone would need to learn how to fight in the air. Week: 5 Post: 1 Terra faltered, taken off-guard by the reply. She suddenly looked at Dimitri in the same manner as if he had some sort of infectious disease or ailment that happened to be fatal. The idea of getting lessons on being a lady from someone else other than Selda was a tad on the terrifying side of things. The postures, the daintiness, the manner in which she would have to speak...She shuddered in disgust. The audacity of that sort of training was nothing short of horrifying. Quite frankly, she would rather take the leash and make an even greater fool of herself than to step in that sort of uncharted territory. "Heaven help me if I end up getting etiquette lessons from both a dragon and a friend at the same time. The inhumanity of it! Does the balance of nature threaten to tilt towards formality and civil conversation? Will pigs start flying? Will hell freeze over in a blazing storm of ice?" The woman had the same expression as a person who was just done a great wrong, downright terrified of the very concept of becoming 'civilized'. She shivered again, not out of a lack of heat, but out of fear for such a fate to be bestowed upon her. "The smiling, the courtesy...I'd end up like, like one of them. Oh the horror!" An accusing finger was directed to a gaggle of giggling girls going into the cafeteria, flocking around the door like a bunch of unorganized sheep. What a scary thought indeed.
Staring at Cassandra with teary eyes, she made a prompt decision to move a little closer to the other woman instead. At least she was still partially sane. Partially hiding from view, she appeared rather paranoid about him. Good grief, Selda was going to have a field day with this. She could practically hear the rambling of plans that were bent on her ultimate demise as a free-thinking individual. No more fights unless necessary, no more terrorizing others just because it was fun and a good way to kill time. That was all she practically lived for in the first place. "I'd rather keep what reason I still have, thanks." She grinned, but made sure to keep Cassandra between the two. Hell, she was booking it if he even brought up table manners or something. Her idea of self-preservation were considerably high when it came to that particular topic. Besides, she was fairly certain that the other girl would have a much better time playing decoy with him while she took off. Granted, she was making a big deal out of it. So perhaps sacrificing Cassandra to lady lessons was a bit of an exaggeration. The rest was fairly accurate as far as she was concerned.
Further away from the humans, Selda sneezed. She blinked, feeling rather sleepy about halfway through her meal. Someone was talking about her, and Terra's comical agitation made it easy guessing to figure out what it was. For all of her unpredictability, the woman could rarely hide secrets from her. The dragon, finding herself oddly amused by whatever it was that they were talking about, stretched and lowered her head, gnawing on a particularly crunchy bone of some animal that was in her stall. It had something to do with making a deal with her and one of Terra's companions, but that was all she got before her human promptly blocked her from the rest of the conversation. How interesting. She would have to ask the other dragons about that later if the human was not going to see her about it.

C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: Sorry for not posting quickly guys. ^_^;; I haven't been home much. Y_Y;.... As for the combat class, everyone is taking it. "Wouldn't have seen us? Ouch, I'm so hurt that we're so unnoticeable without causing a ruckus."Cassandra feigned being hurt for the moment, though the small smile could not be helped, so it stuck to her lips. They were an interesting trio so far. Though it was only the first day, Cassandra almost could not wait to figure out how the rest of the year would continue on. Listening to the two before her, she pondered what it would be like to see Terra with any sort of civil manners all the time. A small smirk touched the woman's lips for a moment as she waited for the dramatics to end, watching Terra curve around behind her almost as if using Cassandra as a meat shield. Keeping the horrible thoughts of being normal away from her, deflecting them back into Demetri's direction.
Shaking her head a bit, Cassandra stepped into the conversation again, "All right now, stop scaring her, Demetri. You're going to give the poor thing a nervous twitch."Taking a step to the side, she left the space in front of Terra vacant and once again began her travels down the isle, "Come on, you two. It's time for us to fight for our food before their is nothing but crumbs left." With a playful glance at Terra, Cassandra spoke to Demetri, "We will figure out where to stick our little darling here after we eat, hm?" With that playful comment said, she continued on in the prospect of finding food.
Ladon, on the other hand, was content sitting in his stall. Already finishing the large portion of meat, he slowly laid down into the straw bed, relaxing for a bit. His mind trailed around, trying to ignore Cassandra's thoughts the best he could. It was hard to keep her out sometimes. She was so odd. One would never think she was depressive or worried all the time. She wore a mask like it was a second skin. Sighing to himself a bit, he rested in silence, wondering when a true smile would form upon the poor girls lips again. The two had met in a trying time in the young girls life. Still trying to figure out who she was, among many other things. Shaking his large head for a minute, he stretched his neck out some before curling it back along his body, drifting off into a light slumber, waiting for her return.High off of love, drunk from my hate It's like I'm {huffin'} paint and I love it, the more I suffer I suffocate and right before I drown, she r e s u s c i t a t e s me She ********' hates me and I love it.

Out Of Cards: Oh well I do suppose that makes sense. Sorry for late response.
Demetri found it ever more impossible to suppress his amusement over the situation. To save himself from bursting out, he casually slid his hands behind his head and looked up to the ceiling, trying not to think on the matter anymore. When he was certain his laughter was suppressed without risk, he returned his gaze back upon them. "Now now I'm only toying with you dear. You'd more than likely conform me to your own ways before I would make any progress with you. Though I suppose either scenario wouldn't be to bad though." Demetri let himself breathe a small sigh, mostly to return himself to his calm demeanor he seem to always carry. He must admit this year would certainly be satisfying poking fun at Terra here and there. Demetri almost wondered what her limits for her "friends" were. Perhaps she was not so quick to defend her turf at their jests. A part of Demetri knew to keep it contained, however he also couldn't suppress the urge to get some sort of rise from her. Her reactions were, how to say, amusing.
Demetri's eyes carefully trailed Terra as she took refuge behind Cassandra. Though she would've been better making a b-line out of the place, since Demetri guessed Cassandra would probably rather take his side, if but only to see the forbidden sight of Terra portrayed as a "lady". Though if Demetri detected any hint of joy on Cassandra, it faded as she decided to progress forward, opening the line of sight between Terra and himself. At Cassandra's comment, Demetri let slip a devilish grin embrace his lips as he looked to Terra. He quirked his brow for a moment and began after Cassandra, stopping for a moment to turn halfway to Terra. His grin was ever prominent as he patted the side of his leg in Terra direction and held out his hand slightly, as if beckoning a small child or a household pet. "Come along now dear. Let's go get some food." He teased in a childish tone and quickly turned back forward to catch up to Cassandra. He slung his hands behind his head again as he walked, finding the gesture almost a nasty habit, yet one he held no intention of breaking. He chuckled to himself for a moment before laying his sight upon the ever approaching mess hall. The crowd had seemed to have mildly died down, or at least managed to get organized. However a line was still present, and the thought of waiting sat ill with Demetri. Oh well, he figured he could amuse himself by teasing Terra if but only to pass the time. Week: 5 Post: 2

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 5 Post: 2 Beaming, she promptly deciding to take refuge behind Cassandra was the best move to make. Even she was not that incredibly cruel and unusual, although she could practically hear the gears turning in her head at the prospect of a lady-like friend. Well, it was not more than she had no idea what to do than being against the principle morally. Nonetheless, she was mildly touched that her friend did indeed defend her. Terra looked over at the other girl fondly. "Aww, I knew I could depend on you...Wait a sec, what do you mean by that?" Well, the touched feeling certainly fell away fast now that she could focus on the other aspects of their conversation. So now she was reduced to a pet or something. She huffed, letting her arms swing at her sides since she no longer had any pockets to put her hands in for the time being. Good luck trying to get her to roll over and shake hands. Might as well get a better response out of a pet rock. At least they were solid and not apt for any sort of abrupt changes in mood. Nonetheless, she entertained their idea since it really was interesting to listen to, even if she was the one they were teasing.
Upon hearing a mild tapping noise, she looked over at her male friend with an eyebrow raised. Terra gave Dimitri a sour look; the household pet thing was not being helped with his little quips. She then flashed a toothy grin, looking more fang-like than before thanks to some effort on her part. It was all for show for the most part. "Careful now, I'm about as cute and fuzzy as a pitbull. Let's get in there already, I'm starved." She chuckled, rolling her eyes and falling in line with the two. It seemed that she would be getting an earful from Dimitri every now and again. It was partially her fault for quickly exposing that particular sore spot. Perhaps she should practice being patient too. However, when they got to the doors of the mess hall, which was still crowded with people, the idea of waiting suddenly became less appealing. In that case, a little crowd control was in order. Her gaze shifted over to her friends and she stretched, turning to focus in on the crowd. "If you want to get in and out quickly, better stay on my behind." This was something she could do without the use of some extra force. All it took was a little strategic movement.
The woman drove into the mass of bodies, forcibly separating them without an apparent care for the cries of indignation that came from the ruddy groups of students who were into talking in large herds and blocking the doorway. Some of the bolder ones glared at her, but she met them with a murderous look of her own in exchange. That seemed to be a good way to get them to back off. Terra turned her head and gestured for Cassandra and Dimitri to follow after her. With that, she continued her not-so-gentle creation of a temporary path through the students to get to the lines. Another bright grin was set into place, and it was no surprise that she was enjoying her method quite a bit. That, and she was forcibly not paying attention to the fact that there was very little room in the cafeteria. Not being able to move as freely as usual made her a tad irritable. If only these people would clue in that it was in their best interests to get out of her way immediately. Terra continued to stride forward, and they seemed to understand that soon enough, this was not a fight that could be won. The path she was aiming for was now formed, albeit through the use of mild intimidation and the students' lack of desire to get involved with someone who appeared both annoyed and hungry.
Looking back at the others, she smiled. "What'd I tell you? I can make my way through a crowd pretty well, huh? Being aggressive has it's perks." She laughed, looking over the lists of things that they could get. She probably would be best off with eating meat or something, just to replenish her lost bone density. However, the junk food that was available was also a tempting idea. It had been ages since she had any real sugar running through her veins after all. However, it was much more practical to avoid such rushes of energy until the day had gone on a little more. Decisions, decisions...

 C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: ---- I can't tell you what it {really is}, I can only tell you what it feels like And right now there's a steel k n i f e in my windpipe I can't breath but I still fight while I can fight As long as the wrong feels right its like I'm in flight
Cassandra fell silent as the trio made their way into the horribly crowded building and into the cafeteria. Is was a painful sight, which in a way made Cassandra nervous to be around all of these people at once. For a second, she was shoved a bit by someone who would probably be labeled a jock. As she stumbled some, he glanced at her paying no mind to be respectful or courteous and continued his way on without a word said. Cassandra followed the male with a steady glare, making sure her clothes were straight until she heard Terra's voice. Glancing to the woman, Cassandra watched as a path slowly formed, big enough for her and Demetri to follow close behind.
The nervousness grew a bit, but Cassandra gave in and began after her female friend, but first glancing to Demetri for a moment to make sure he was still around. Once she was sure of his position, she started after Terra. The large group let out soft cries and a good bit of grievances after Terra bombarded her way through them. Cassandra gave some of them apologetic nods, others she gave the small comment of "excuse me" too, while others she tried not to bother with at all. All the while, she glanced back and forth, checking for Terra and checking for Demetri behind her.
Besides the door the trio came from, there were three other doors. One ran from the cafeteria into another room with was closed off. The second door ran outside to a closed off area filled with picnic tables and benches. Some seats were out in the open, some over their own cover, while others were under trees for shade. The third door was another exit, leading to the side of the building closest to the training field. Terra reached a point in the room where they all would be able to glance about and see what exactly they were dealing with for food options. Pausing a moment, Cassandra looked around from her group and looked around. Many of the students were alone, but few had the tiniest pact partners flying about or perched on their shoulders for safe keeping. The line to their left was filled with all sort so of junk food. Ranging from pizza and candy, to those horrible single packages of large pickles to dried sticks of beef jerky. The center line was filled with more regular food, today's main choice appeared to be some sort of eggs, sausage, and pancakes with various sides to choose from later down the line. The line to the right was the one that caught her attention though. The line with salads peeked her interests and she began pondering over heading over to the line. From what she could see, most of the salads had some sort of meat in them, some chicken, others ham, one appeared to be some sort of tuna, and of course there was on option with no sort of meat at all.
Turning back to Demetri and Terra she sighed, "Well, we've made it this far. What are you guys heading for? I think I'm gonna' hit up the salad line. You guys wanna' meet up anywhere?" They could always bully some poor kids out of their seats within the cafeteria with Terra's help of course. Cassandra pondered the over the options in order for her own opinion to be voiced if the others did not care, though she had always been bland when it came to this sort of thing, always picking salads and the like. She figured it would always be easier to figure out if the food was bad if you picked from the veggie section of the pyramid.High off of love, drunk from my hate It's like I'm {huffin'} paint and I love it, the more I suffer I suffocate and right before I drown, she r e s u s c i t a t e s me She ********' hates me and I love it.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 6 Post: 1 ((Out Of Carrots: Gah...it's short >.< )) Terra was in a serious state of contemplation now, surprisingly focused in a manner that was intense, but not hostile. The inner debate of the best choice of meal was raging in her head, essentially tuning out everything, save for the voices of those she deemed important to listen to. She was so intent on the careful selection of breakfast that she had nearly passed right over Cassandra's question. Blinking several times, for her eyes were getting dry from her uninterrupted staring, she inclined her head towards the speaker. "As fun as it would be to play hide and seek with you guys, perhaps it would be easier if we picked a spot to eat at. Do you prefer the scenic view, or would you rather have one of the tables here? I'm sure that there are a couple of spots just ready to open up soon enough." She smirked, eying a few prospective tables. Sure, she was a traditionally unorthodox schoolyard bully if she needed to be, but hey, it was hardly her fault if they ran away on their own will. Being mildly suggestive for a change in eating area was by no means an act of harassment more as an encouragement to move into a healthier environment. Yeah, that was what it was.
Ultimately, the woman shrugged and headed off to the middle line, waving her hand in the air lazily."We'll figure it out after we've got some grub. It won't take that long." The offhand comment was rather relaxed and carefree for the most part. Now it was time to get back to the great debate over eating for strength or eating because it tasted good. Scanning through the foods in front of her carefully, she made her choices based off of what looked edible and possibly tasty. Terra ended up choosing fried eggs and two slices of toast to go with it. She also took a fruit salad and a small carton of milk with her while she was at it. It was pretty much the same thing she normally had at home, so at least she could use that experience to figure out whether or not it was really worth attempting to eating healthy in the first place. That, and she wanted to start building up some energy right away, just in case she had the excellent opportunity of putting someone in their place. Of course, with her two friends being mildly objected to purposely seeking trouble out, the chances of it actually happening on the first day was slim. How depressing was that?
When she had everything in hand, she stepped away from the flow of student-filled traffic and waited for the others to get their food as well. In the meanwhile, she popped a grape from her salad into her mouth, savouring the crisp and juicy morsel of fruit. Not too bad at all. Well, at least the produce that they used seemed to be fresh enough, or at least edible without any apparent consequences. Hopefully, a similar quality of meal was what Selda was enjoying as well. The last thing that she wanted to know was if her partner was ripped off just for being a dragon. That was a concern that still unnerved her even though her friend seemed to be perfectly happy when she had left her a while back.

Out Of Cats: I do detest life's little "snags" here and there.
It would appear that whatever worry of sitting idly in that god forsaken line had been thrown out the window all in part to the actions of none other than their rambunctious companion. Demetri looked upon the situation with complete amusement, mostly at her ability to plow through the lines with little to no avail. Anyone whom seemed to take offense to it, was quickly cut off by the body of another before they could react. Though as amusing as it was to watch, the slight tingle of rumbling in his tummy powered his feet into movement, quickly making his way through the sea of people before it decided to collapse back in upon itself.
Being amongst the last to go through, Demetri clearly got to see every expression lingering upon the poor victims faces as he passed them. Some shot him irritated and questioning glares, probably wishing for an explanation for the actions of his friend. To be honest however, even if they were to ask, Demetri would not be able to reply them with a satisfactory answer. The thought of even controlling Terra, in truth, seemed beyond any sign of hope. All he did was dig his hands into his pockets, bow his head a small bit and quickly weave between them, trying to avoid eye contact as much as possible. Though he made it through rather unscathed, he could have sworn he felt people grip at his clothing a time or two. He hoped it was merely people trying to get him to stop to be yelled at. But after this morning's incident, lord only knew what people would stop them for.
But lo and behold, his worries were cast aside as the bounty of food lay strewn before him. His eyes danced across the assorted selection, taking in everything that was being offered and considering the possibilities. Though most might consider the thought of choosing "healthy", Demetri really didn't tend to focus upon that matter at all. He didn't want eating to become a chore. Figuring it would be much better to enjoy his meals rather than think about the ill effects of it. Though his eyes naturally gravitated towards the "junk food" section being displayed, he figured it would be better to grab a breakfast type meal, if at least for the first day. Demetri quickly snagged himself small bits of fruit and meandered over towards his main course, grabbing couple of eggs and few slices of bacon and a two pancakes. Seemed like a little much but when you haven't eaten in a while, you tended to grab a bit more than you could eat.
After making his selection, Demetri slid his way on over beside Terra, eying both her selection while also looking into the vast sea of people frolicking amongst the room. He bit at his lower lip while pondering over their available options. It appeared to be a few seats outside and also a few near the back end of the room. Though whether his companion next to him would be troubled to walk that distance he was not sure. His eyes caught sight of Cassandra, noting she was almost rid of her selection and was making her way towards them. He tilted his head in Terra's direction imitating resting it on her shoulder. "Well, now that we have probably angered half the populace, shall we overthrow one of the nearby tables or perhaps take refuge outside or in the back. I don't care where I merely just want to eat."
