Grand Pianist Kristabelle015 Grand Pianist Kristabelle015 Grand Pianist Yeah well feel special... Because Korea has become quite something I guess in global perspective... New Zealand is the best place to meet people and have a good time! Maoris are such well mannered and cultured people. I love Tongans too xD Oh for you guys who don't know Maori culture and want to know just a bit about it, then go watch the movie Whale Rider. Have you ever been to South Auckland? No I haven't. I've only been to Wellington unfortunately... Then you don't realise how woefully innacurate those statements are. Oh really? Gosh... The dark truth behind New Zealand.... xD stare

I don't have a billion dollars to buy a halfway decent house though so I will spend 800 a month for a studio."

I live in South Auckland (Papakura, to be exact) where our *ahem* indigenous peoples think it's cool to attempt to emulate the American "Crips" and "Bloods". It's s**t, it's stupid, and it's annoying that you cannot have a civilized conversation with these people. Especially since they're the ones always trying to break into your house and steal your stuff.

Here's one Josh hadn't heard: "Crash Hot". Which basically means well. To use it in a sentance: "I'm not feeling too crash hot today." means "I'm not feeling too well today."

We have the word craic in Ireland, pronounced like crack. It means good fun, good conversations. For example "How was the party" "Ahh it was good craic". This leads to a lot of weird looks overseas where people think I'm talking about drugs.

Lady-Sanctuary Yeah, Gailiac pronuciation is weird! Yeah it is. I apparently spent most of my life pronouncing Dublin incorrectly as well as Celtic. My best friend speaks it enough that she's able to correct my pronunciation for me though. 3nodding

Lady-Sanctuary How do you pronouce them wrong? Them in English or Irish? I don't remember how I was saying Dublin, I believe I just had the stress on the wrong syllable. The other I was saying with a soft C instead of a hard C. ^//^;
