- Switch Gear (Mother; Alive) - Boobhugger; Tek has never had a real reason to dislike Switch. Sure he couldn't stand the way she talked to him when they were alone, or the way she made him do things...but on the other side? When she held him, she held him against her chest! Despite his new height, he can still get somewhat of a Boob hug and besides, she seems like a nice enough lady.
Kale Gear (Switch's Pet; Alive) - Adversary; Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate. He can't place how, he can't place why, he just knows that he can't stand the man, and the way he'll disappear for weeks on end. Really, what more reason does he need? Kale needs to GTFO.
Xbalanque Gear (Oldest Brother; Alive) - Pain in the a**; Hate. Most of the scars on Kay's person? The little ones, at least? All Tek's fault. This brick headed Shaman deserved every single one of them. Despite how convenient Kay would be to defend him in a fight, Tek still wouldn't mind seeing him get seriously injured.
Quint Gear (Older Brother; Alive) - Saviour?; The only person aside from Switch that Tek actually likes. Perhaps it is because he is quiet, perhaps because he seems to have an equally strong dislike of Kay, or perhaps it was because the way he failed at closing the sippy cup lid and kept swearing because of it. Or because Quint let him watch the rather violent Blade Series at a very young age. Either way, Tek practically idolizes Quin...and he probably won't ever admit it.
Distinguishing Features:
- Halo: Tek has an Angel's Halo floating above his head. It probably gives people the wrong idea, but then again...one look at his sour expression will change that. It doesn't hurt to touch, and even if you put a hat on him it will continuously hover there. It will not budge from it's place either, no matter how hard one could tug on it.
Fangs: From the Vampire part of him, Tek has a set of pointed canines. It does make him crave blood, but he is working on getting over that. It is the reason why he likes his steak rare, though.
Dragon Wing: His left wing is a green Dragon's wing. The claw at the top is incredibly sharp.
Phoenix Wing: The Right wing is from a Phoenix. While it usually radiates heat, it doesn't actually change the temperature of anything unless Tek is particularly angry. Even then, it's not so drastic of a change that would leave a mark, it's more like...'Oh hey, that's warm'.
Sharp Tongue: This is actually a dangerous part of him. His tongue is, quite literally, sharp. he can draw blood with it, if he is close enough to lick someone.
Werewolf Ears and Tail: Tek sports a pair of furry black ears and a long wolf's tail. They can move about like the real animal's can, and they make him totally omg cute.
Odd Tidbits:
- Tired-speak: When Tek gets tired or isn't paying attention to what he is saying, he will talk in internet abbreviations. LOL, LMAO, BRB, WB, GTFO, STFU, IAWTC, IMO, BTW, FYI, FML, FTW, etc etc...He will spell them out verbally, as opposed to trying to pronounce them.
Sleeps on his Stomach: Because of his wings and tail, Tek sleeps on his stomach, his wings sprawled out at his sides. Trial and Error made him learn that being on his back is uncomfortable as hell, and being on his side makes whatever wing is higher very uncomfortable.
Glitters under Black Light: Thanks to an unfortunate halloween accident, it is now known in the Gear household that Tek's skin glitters like diamonds under black lights. He goes to great lengths to avoid these types of lights, and particularly hates glow in the dark bowling nights.
Four-to-Five Word Personality: Blunt, Rude, Solitary, Adroit
Personality: Tek absolutely loves to argue. It might be childish and it usually is, but he is never quite sure of what to do with himself unless there is some sort of opposition there. It takes a very abnormally good mood or a very pleasing bribe to be nice, and even then it's not perfect. Despite his need for senseless debate he does enjoy being alone, as it usually does wonders on his mood. He likes the 'ugly' things in life; tacky furniture, unappealing people...and while he might mock them for their lack of beauty, he finds a certain charm about it. Like any misdirected Bully, telling him to go away will only have him hanging around more; you have to ignore him for him to go away.
Fears: Unknown. Getting stabbed, maybe.
Issues: Inability to be polite unless making a very conscious effort; High Self-Esteem
