“It’s a part of cooking. If you don’t chop your food evenly, it won’t cook right.” Evadne looked away from the window and smiled up at him before focusing back to the stove. Stirring her veggies so as not to burn them, her tail started to wag in time to his humming. Her ears perked curiously; she’d never heard the tune before. “That’s beautiful Sardar. Where did you learn it?” She asked before taking the vegetables off the heat.

Sardar stirred the cheese mix a few minutes longer, his tune stopping to answer her question and to carefully take the sauce off of the heat. "It's something I came up with while we were traveling," he blushed a little at her compliment. He would have to keep the sauce warm and moving to keep it from solidifying again, so he continued to stir it near the heat.

Evadne took the vegetables off of the direct heat and spooned them onto a plate. As they cooled, she put the nuts into a bowl and then began slicing the bread and fruit, arranging the slices on a plate with the bowl of nuts in the middle. Since she'd been living alone, she didn't have all that many dishes. "So you're a composer, huh?" She smiled at him from across the table as her knife made quick work of a juicy apple.
