Question for all those here in the cool land of internets.
How many friends do you have who are also interested in the occult/paranormal/psyonic/crypto-religious/use of the Ouija board to find our ur crsh's name omg
And if you have such friends, how do you associate with them? Is it just on the interblag, or do you have friends in scary, face to face, real life who share your passion? Do you talk about it? Debate? have meetings? a coven? Midnight sacrifice?
Enlighten me, please.

Just about all of the people I know that are interested in that stuff are online friends. I've only met a couple of them in person before. I have a couple of IRL friends that are interested, but I don't know how in-depth their practice is.
It's not really something I broadcast in public, so that's probably why I don't have that many friends that are interested in this stuff.

For the most part I associate with those who have an actual passion for the occult on the internet. Otherwise, I talk to people I know in college and occasionally mention to them/remind them that I'm interested in the paranormal/occult, usually to preface a story of amusing beliefs or thought patterns.
By the numbers, I'd say I have about 3 or 4 associates online with which to talk to about the occult, yourself included, Josh. As for people IRL with which I would talk about the Occult to, and not just Religion, which would be higher, I'd say that number is about the same or a little higher.

Most of the people I know don't have any relation with the occult except from 2-3. Thank the Internet that I can have a (civilized) conversation about such things.

I had a friend who claimed she was a wiccan. She's a retard.
I have a friend, my best bud, we both are into lucid dreaming. We are both trying to be lucid every time we sleep. Again, she is my best friend.
Other then that, I mean I don't really know anyone who believes in metaphysics. Those kids at my college who do also wear trench coats and never party, so I don't really see them.

I have a very small number of people I consider friends, and most of them have a fair interest in the occult/et cetera/alternative-here. A small number of the people I end up associating with have some interest, or enjoy the occasional "deep" conversation. I do also spend a bit of time talking to people who are usually more than twice my age who have a fair bit of knowledge or interest in such things, or related thing atleast. This guild is basically the only internet place I really say anything on, aside from a rare comment in something very mundane and typical oriented place or another.

I don't believe in half the s**t that goes on anymore. The only things that seem real to me are spirits, gnomes and the like, and lucid dreaming. Otherwise I think the rest is redundant. I don't put up with the whole "I'm an elf angel sent here by Dalarian the overlord of pizza hell", I believe that those are fantasies created by a lack of some sort of interaction with your imagination in your childhood and puberty. Sorry if I sounded foolish, I was trying to explain how I felt with short words that wouldn't offend anyone.

@Zurine I'd say 35% of the Wiccans I meet are kind, well adjusted people who find it a good representation of their spiritual path. The other 65% are Silver Ravenwolf Majic Moon Goddesses. Your mileage may vary, but that's how it goes for me.
I have about 4 good friends whom I discuss magic with, and about 4 others that it comes up as a subject, but I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw.
