I've finished my costume finally.... and the con is tomorrow xD
I'll get some pics up for you guys after the con is over, its too dark to get a decent shot now, not to mention I dont have my tripod.
Overall I'm really happy with how it turned out. Theres a couple things that bother me (The gold fabric marker didnt work as well as hoped, the boots are too chunky) but since it's my first full blown cosplay attempt, I'll call it a victory.

cosplay has always fascinated me, and i am even in a cosplay guild here even though i suck at it

and am way to big to be anything but a kangaroo or something

XD Sewing a button back on is about as far as I've gone too, if you don't count that sewing class in middle school. rofl

woah i forgot about that! i had that class too.. i got a certificate for excellence cool even though i didn't get an A and my final project looked like crap.. aw yeah

it's a lot more exciting when you sew something cool without a plan that has step-by-step instructions P:

i never have.

now swords, and (ahem) bodices and such why yes, you can get points off for those...
