For my first poem, this is one I wrote when I was depressed (and angry),
Is it fair to keep me in chains?
Where no pain ever drains
Everyday I cry so hard
My only friend is the pouring rain
Then one day I decided to do something
Stop holding me down
Save me before I drown
I thought you loved me
But I was far from right
All you did was make me cry
These tears I've cried
These scars I've made
They'll never fade away
At least the blood has dried
Though there's pain inside
This is why I'm so lost
You left me all alone
And now I have nowhere to go
I guess it's time for me to say,
"It's too late for me now"
I don't like this one, but it's the way I feel right now.

Well the structure seems a tad off but i think it still conveys the point
