Glaring at his human, Aeon turned and scampered off to assist Skye with pulling Tesla off Nyx's lap. The blue Pikachu didnt know who difficult the monotone one could be at times.

Various channels flew by on the TV screen, ranging from cooking shows to some random soap opera, at high speeds as Jen mashed down on the buttons. Unfortunately for the three of them, it didn't look like any of the local stations were showing anything interesting.
And the fact Newton ate the TV guide didnt help either.
"Well..." Jen tossed the remote from hand to hand in thought. "I guess we can steal one of the DVDs from the stand over there and see whats up. Or a video game sounds good t-"
BANG!
Outside, a bolt of lightning lit up the dark sky, its thunder sounding like a gunshot. So close it was, it even vibrated the windows a bit.
Cinaed jumped and clung to Cal.
Donar jumped and clung to Jen.
And Aeon jumped, squeaked and climbed into Nyx's lap.
As the sound faded, the lights in the room flickered once...twice...before dying completely. The only source of light now was the warm flame on the tip of Cinaeds' tail.
