Being a huge Zelda fan, I've been naming lots of my Pokemon after characters from the Zelda games, such as:
Typhosion- BlastByrne
Blastoise- ZoraCannon
Pikachu- Sheik
A few other favorite names of mine are:
Tyranitar- GuardArmor
Aggron- Ironhide
Gallade- Roxas Aura

Mine are as followed:
Sableye - Yoru
Tyranitar - Maron
Ampharos - Hector
Togetic - Kyle
Typhlosion - Lan
Crobat (my female one) - Ruto
Crobat (male) - Ocra
Poliwrath - Guru
Gyarados (the shiny one!) - Ginta
Dragonite - Valoom
Mamoswine - Yoshun
Victreebel - Mido
Haunter - Nikaidou
That's my list for now. I like all my nicknames, which is why I put all of them up. XP I'll add more later if I nickname any more Pokemon.

I just loved when Ghastly evolved razz
"Your Ghastly evolved into Haunter!"
And then it was still called Ghastly xd

You could do that with any Pokemon. XD Egg would be a funny nickname because when you use it in battle, it'll say "Egg used Water Gun!" XD And when you trade it to the other person, they can't get rid of the name. twisted
