I haven't heard any exact street date by Geneon regarding release of Reload, only that it will be sometime in 2004, with Gunlock being released in 2005. So expect at least early 2004, since Reload only has 25 eps, and we're not sure on how long Gunlock will run yet.

Geneon has both, and are probably working on the dubs as we speak. I'll be watching the subs, as though i loved Greg Ayres as Goku, i've always prefered the japanese seiyuu.

..i sure am glad i picked up my subbed box set of reload a few months ago. ive had to wait till i got disk 12 before i could watch it tho, didnt wanna go out of order. does anyone know where requiem actually fits into the storyline? i mean..i got it subbed too way back during season one...and..it could really go anywhere...

personally..i think its an abomination to change the voice actors in the series, and it really bothers me. especially this far along into the series! i mean...its a piece of artwork, when all put together..and changing their voices cheapens it to me a little. i love those voices! it would be like if my girlfriend woke up with a different voice all of a sudden..shed be her but..she wouldnt be her. these guys have been voicing it from the beginning, and they have a feel for the characters..they *are* the characters..ya kno? im surprised that i havent really seen anyone else more upset about the voice changes...

and yeah, nii does sound perverted..and creepy...heh.

I was so esctatic when I heard that they were bought...that is, until I found out what company bought the license.

I'm utterly ticked and majorly disappointed about the voice change...and we all know the voices are going to be changed because its a different company.

The bright side is, we'll at least get a relatively good sub version with it. That way, if the voices are terrible, we can watch the sub! whee

I've been watching Saiyuki subbed and occasionally switch over the English Dub on DVDs. But I understand how you feel about the voice changes. Changing the VAs so far along in the series almost kills characterization to some point since the audience is already accustomed to the voice and matching personality. But there's always the chance that the new Voice Actors, once we've adapted to them, may even do a better job than the old ones... never know... but that's thinking positively ofcourse.

About Requiem... I'm guessing it takes place sometime in between the first and second season of Gensomaden. Could be wrong though.
