"But you don't know where you're heading!" Logan called out to her as his horse sped up to meet up with her.
"Come on, we have to follow the trail into the nearby woods. There's something that you must see."
He steered his horse down the dirt path and into the canopy of overgrown trees.
"I saw this while a couple of friends and I were hunting last spring. It's a nice place to just sit and enjoy the time passing. Almost no one knows of this place."
His horse went up and down small hills until the sound of trickling was heard up ahead.
"And we're almost there." He turned to Charlotte and smiled. "You're going to love this."

Charlotte shrugged her shoulders and decided to follow Logan for the moment. The place sounded interesting but she was looking forward to going to the city markets. Maybe another time. She does enjoy the wilderness and maybe the place Logan takes her will be a nice and secluded area for her to go for privacy.
"Master Logan, I fear I do not know this place, are you sure you can lead us back later on?""

"Of coarse I know how to get back, what kind of person would I be if I lured a pretty girl like you into the forest and then got us both lost?"
He stopped his horse and stepped off onto the ground.
"come on." He said as he tied his horse to a nearby tree branch. "We have to walk the rest of the way."

Charlotte followed Logan's example and tied her reins to the branch of the nearest tree. She patted Quicksilver and reassured him that she wasn't going anywhere too far. With a final pat on the head and a promise of all the carrots he could eat if he stayed, Charlotte walked to Logan. She lifted the hem of her skirt up and nimbly skipped around to find patches of bare ground with no branches to snag her dress.
"I daresay Master Logan, this is becoming a lot more adventurous!"

"Every girl needs a bit of adventure." Logan said as he looked back at Charlotte.
He took her hand in his and led her down the small path and towards the sound of trickling water.
"you're going to love this." He told her as he caught sight of the small lake him and his friends had found.
A small waterfall was in front of them now. Logan turned to Charlotte.
"What do you think?"

Charlotte was too busy admiring the lush forest surrounding her (and maybe sneaking peeks at Logan) to fully notice what was right in front of her.
"Master Logan! If only my parents heard what you've said, they would surely gasp-"
Charlotte stared at the waterfall in astonishment and let out a soft whistle. The waterfall was beautiful! The water was sparkling clean and she bet it would taste sweet and clear, if she were ever the sample it. She glanced at Logan and pleaded with him with her big doe-eyed expression to get closer to the spring.

Arik (The 'Ladies' Man) "I was practicing my strangling technique, you never know when your going to need it. It is especially good when someone else is trying to strangle you" he replied nervously running his hand through his hair and silently cursing. He was supposed to be calm, cool, and collected, not frustrated and irritated.
