Right now, we have it to where anyone on Gaia can see the guild. You don't need to be a member to post here.
Are people comfortable with this? I know I myself have disclosed some information (such as specifics on where I live, not just "Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky) and anyone can see that. I'm okay with it for the most part, but others might not be. Do we want changes as to who can see the guild?

public is okay for now. but the guild may be set to private later on when meet ups are planned and also if there is a "post your pic" thread made.

Yeah, I think it should be private. Just because I am kind of paranoid. ^^;

Being a professional mod irl for a large company (not Gaia), I tend to err on the side of privacy myself, especially when people's PII is involved and even more so if any of those ppl happen to be under the age of 18 (even tho many ppl already give personal info out freely regardless). So, my vote would go for making it private just so you personally can't be held responsible in the unlikely event that someone gives out info then decides they want to blame you because it was publicly viewable. Sorry, I'm always in CYA mode. whee

I also think that the guild should be private. Not to where people can't find it, but to where people can't read posts made by the members of the guild.
