This is a very vast topic that I hope does very well. Lunar magic is the art of using the lunar phases and energy from the moon to help in your magical workings. It's also something that follows many different traditions.

Are there any tales or stories you know about the moon and the moon goddesses?

Are there any specific fae you know of that are attracted to the moon or only come near on certain moon phases?

What do the moon phases mean to you and what kinds of work would you do depending on which phase?

Answer any of these questions or any more information you know about the moon and the magic it holds to win this week.

The moon is also a sign of Yin and Yang. Where as the moon portrays Yin... and the sun portrays Yang. Yin and Yang, also known as Push and Pull, Dark and Light, Good and Evil, and Life and Death. Are the balancing forces of nature.

Without the moon there will be choas and it's the same without the sun! The world is governed by these forces in more ways than one. The moon is one of these forces. The moon ties in with the coming of seasons, the forces of water, and with the changing of life. Yin and Yang are the signs that polar opposites must work together. The moon and the sun are one of these polar opposites, and one cannot work without the other! Its one the of the reasons why see a little bit of yin inside yang and a little bit of yang inside yin!

Indeed. The moon is a celestial beacon for us. Without it, we would surely be lost. It has been called the nightimes nightlife by some. When the moon is full and bright, those seeking to explore the nighttime use it to help them find their ways. And when the moon is no where to be seen, turned away from the vision of the eyes of those on earth, the darkness is heavy, dense, and at times truly frightening for some.

Now then. When the moon is out, and in full swing, my own body may go through its own changes. However, for me the moon is but one of many factors which promote a variety of changes within. But the moon, for me, is a beloved being. There is nothing quite as beautiful, as a full moon on a brisk autumn night. A sight meant for Father himself, yet shared with us non deserving mortals here on this realm. A lot of the training that I do is done at night, under the ever careful gaze of the moon. Even when I move to visit upper reality, I get longer flight times and stronger depending on what phase the moon is in, Full being the strongest.

The waxing moon is when I do my magical work to bring things into my life while the waning moon is when I do my magical work to cast things out. The full moon is very powerful and I love bathing in her beautiful rays of moonlight. The mother moon is fabulous and so are the reigning moon goddesses.
