I try not to speak to those who are in love with Twilight. I don't want to listen to them prattle on all the time so I just try to avoid them.
Our words fall on deaf ears anyhow, so why bother talking to them. Just annoys them.
Unless you're into annoying them.
I like annoying them sometimes, but usually it just ends with them STILL talking about their love for it and how I have "no taste in movies/books" and me being the annoyed one. Now, whenever I hear someone talking about it (which actually hasn't been in awhile) i usually just shake my head and walk away.
It's been really hard for me recently. My dad's new girlfriend is a Twilight fan, but she HATES the movies. She's admitted that yes, they're not the greatest books ever, but they're a quick easy read and at it's core, it's a Romeo and Juliet story. She's Team Edward, and when I told her I was Team Tyler's Van, she thought that was hilarious.
So, she's not a die-hard fan, but also doesn't see the flaws in it that I do. We also had a conversation about Elizabeth Bathory and she had no idea who that was. She was stunned at my vampire knowledge. I was like "I'm a vampire fan, just as my dad. I KNOW my vampires." ^_^
