Manoka vs. Terrorists Mission Objective: Capture, Kill, or Neutralize all Terrorists (Preferably capture a few for interrogation), and rescue all Hostages with minimal causality rate. Minimal Objective Completion for Success: 80% (Causality rate inflicted upon enemies and remaining Hostages) Branches Present: All. Although, like in normal operations, non-stealth units will be sent in last (I.E. attack Aircraft, Submarines, and heavy Tanks) while units such as paratroopers, Infantry, Leviathan units, and Stealth Reconnaissance planes will first be departing into the territory, both to gather intelligence and set up a viable attack points without compromising the safety of the hostages and potentially building structures. Estimated Maximum Force Count: 10,000 (Including Planes, Naval Ships, and Ground Forces) Estimated Maximum Hostage Count: 1250Estimated Maximum Enemy Count: 2,000Primary Strategy: Invade multiple parts of the Island with Infantry and the heaviest vehicles possible, establish a parameter, assign correct fields of operation in contact mission areas, and then strike with the full force of the entire operation's units. Find the safest way to remove hostages while removing enemy combatants. Like in normal operations, non-stealth units will be sent in last (I.E. attack Aircraft, Submarines, and heavy Tanks) while units such as paratroopers, Infantry, Leviathan units, and Stealth Reconnaissance planes will first be departing into the territory, both to gather intelligence and set up a viable attack points without compromising the safety of the hostages and potentially building structures.

Enemy History and Basic Information The force seems to a mix of a random Group of Terrorists, although it's expected that roughly 75% of their forces are from the Taliban, with close unit ties such as the Al-Queda, given the force amount, style of clothing, and somewhat reckless but effective tactics. They have scattered forces present around the world and the middle East, and in 2001 were estimated to have force strength of roughly 41,000 people, although that later dropped and rose to 11,000 and 25,000 respectively. Now mostly isolated in Pakistan (The area between India and Afghanistan), the members are looking to spread their ideology and militant ways to rest of the world, with some grounds for success, with the Taliban being one of the current largest terrorist force in the Middle East (Or in the world), and Al-Queda being one of the infamous, known for the Trade Center bombings. Despite this, is unknown what kind of training, level of weaponry, and motive are present behind the current militant inhabiting the Batanes Islands in the Philippines. How and where the Situation Came to be The force, of nearly 2000 strong (although estimated to possibly number 2500) supposedly had it's start on this crusade by a disguised Taliban force (of roughly 100-300) invading and capturing an unfinished Voyager Class Cruise Ship in Finland; intended for the Royal Caribbean Cruise line. At first the engineers thought that an Anchoring error caused the boat to begin drifting across the north Atlantic due to a bad storm, but as the ship was missing for an extended period of time (close to a week) the engineering group reported it missing. It had been finished to run properly and seat and store the crew, however, most of the interior decorations (for the passengers) had not been added. Not but two months later, the cruise ship was found off the Coast of the Batanes islands, with roughly 2000 armed militants inside. It is assumed that the group made a quick stop in the Pakistan port to pick up the militant units selected to go on the Voyage, as a force of 2000 armed units being present in Finland, on a close to 20 day voyage back to Pakistan, would be unreasonable. As well, the initial people (presumed people) who hi-jacked the ship were not reported to be carrying and weapons. As well, fuel, food and other similar cargo were absent on the ship, making an extended journey with 2000 people on a 10-20 day journey seem impossible. Batanes IslandsThe Islands are present in the North Philippines, making them relatively close to the Pakistan's original point of departure, and relatively far away from the core Philippine Islands. This makes it hard for the Philippines' people to respond accurately to the situation without immediate discovery of armed ships being present (due to the range). Ironically, or perhaps not ironically, the Manokan Forces has it's main stay in the core of the Philippines and other surrounding areas, making a Terrorist attack so close to the Manokan forces both dangerous and uneasy. Essentially being the guardian of the South Asian area anyways, Manokan Forces were almost forced to respond to the threat. The terrorists have gathered up roughly 1000 people on the northern most island, and held them hostage, 500 people being crammed into the city center with another 500 essentially under "House Arrest". Roughly 1200 or so terrorists roam the street or guard the center of the city (Essentially where are all the local stores are) at a time, with the other 600-800 remaining inside the cruise ship. The terrorist take 14-16 hour shift operations and then are given an 8-10 grace period, where they are allowed to sleep or other wise make basic off duty actions. Of course, most the terrorists appear to be off duty anyways, barely patrolling or preforming sentry duties as is, being too absorbed in their game of cards or in regular talking.

Brief Overview of Forces
Relatively little is known about the so called "Terrorist" Force other than the fact that it's members are dressed in the typical attire, carry relatively similar weapons, and are intent on achieving their mission, or receiving large sums of cash for releasing their hostages. The affiliation, group name, and basic reasoning and motives behind the terrorist organization are all eschewed, but they appear to be the stereotypical lot. Basic Camo clothing with the sleeves rolled and black gloves- ordinary black combat boots, and of course, the customary balcalva or ski mask. A few wear tactical vests and various leather jackets, but mostly they wear ordinary civilian clothing mixed with camo or black tactical pants, shirts, and jackets. A few possess berets of varying color, but mostly they wear the same clothing you would expect to find on a stereotypical terrorist. The units lack an obvious official uniform, and the identification of who is a terrorist or not relies chiefly on whether or not a ski mask, balaclava, or other form of mask or facial covering is worn. Except for a few helmets, it is relatively unknown what kind of body armor the units are wearing, as it presumed that not much is worn, given the basic attire they wear, and the exposed nature of such clothing (displayal of arms, obvious unprotected heads, obvious unprotected legs, hands, and other areas of the body, along with baggy and tight clothing which suggest no body armor is being worn). Still, the Terrorists appear to be a semi-formidable force, with RPG's, various Ak-47's and Ak-47 models, along with RPK's and Dragnuv sniper rifles, along with high explosives and hostages whom they could kill at any time. Intelligence forces at these times are unaware what kind of training these terrorists possess, making the threat all more real when 1 year or 20 year veterans, units with typical terrorist training and possible experience, or even units with formal military training could be present. Rifleman- 1200The brunt of the Terrorist forces, they sport mostly Ak-47 styled weaponry, including Ak-47's, ak-74's, AKM's, and somewhat newer rifles, being in the AK-103 and Ak-104 class. It is expected that each unit carries around 6 to 10 clips of ammunition with them, this mostly 7.62mm x 39mm M43 rounds with a few 5.45mm x 39mm M67 rounds (for the Sparse Ak-74 rounds). In addition to this, it is expected that a few of these soldiers possess a limited amount of F1 Grenades and larger quantities of RGD-5 grenades, the latter being equivalent to roughly 5 U.S. dollars, being very cheap and very easy to make, along with being moderately effective an anti-personnel grenade. It unknown how many are present on the Infantry, however, a few are seen with multiple present grenades, consisting of four or five for those who have them. Grenadiers- 500It is understood that all the Grenadiers are essentially rifleman with RPG's. While not necessarily the best armed or appearing unit in the group, some units with RPG's tend to carry a few extra grenades on them (4-5) which is more than most units to have at all. The wide-spread kind of RPG's used are assumed to be RPG-7's, which they most likely are, although a few newer appearing models are present (although these may as well be spray painted). It is assumed that each unit has between 5 and 20 rounds of the 40mm rocket propelled grenades, considering that each round may weight between 4-10 pounds each (4-6 pounds for anti-infantry, 10 pounds for anti-target or armor). Machine Gunner- 250Most machine Gunners either carry with them either RPK's with 40 round clips or 75 round drums, or larger PKM's with belt fed ammunition, presumably 100-200 rounds per cloth bag or box (or without a box all together). While it is unclear how the terrorists gathered a large amount of PKM's and why they are using them in such a concentrated force, the RPK's are considered reasonable by most standards, as they are essentially enlarged AK-47's that were mass produced for the Squad Automatic Role. Each unit is expected to carry roughly 400-600 rounds of their respective ammunition (7.62mm x 39mm and 7.62mm x 54mm) in various forms, and it also expected that most machine gunners do not serve as grenadiers (as in they probably do not have grenades or RPG's). Designated Marksmen- 50A very sparse, but very recognizable force present in the Terrorist group are what appear to be designated Marksmen. This is seen as the are one of the few units to use scopes on their rifles, and the rifles appear to be Dragnuv Sniper Rifles, which are fed with 10, 20 or 30 round clips of 7.62mm x 54mm rounds. The accuracy, condition, and skill of the designated marksmen is currently unknown. Not a lot of terrorist "Sniper", or even regular shooting schools are open. While a combatant is taught how to use the weapon, they seldom fire it, and are usually inaccurate even at close ranges, due to problems managing recoil and simply keeping the weapon on sight. As well, Sniper Rifle ammunition is rarely used in Terrorist or Insurgent groups, whether this be armor piercing or standard anti-personnel rounds (which were highly regulated and were only mass produced in Covert Soviet Territories). Most probably, the terrorist are attempting to use similar sized, but different preforming 7.62mm x 54mm machine gun ammunition, which offers a different set of ballistics and is usually inaccurate in regards to the precise rifling of the Sniper Rifle barrel. Coupled with the lack of basic ballistic knowledge and equations that a normal designated marksmen or Sniper would be present with, and a lack of firing, it is more likely that the Designated "Marksmen" of the group will be with shotty accuracy, and more less deliver high powered rounds down range realistically for no more than 300-400 meters (although the rounds themselves are probably far more lethal at farther ranges). VehiclesHelicopterOddly enough, the Terrorists have Kamov Ka-32A2 rotor craft, which is a Russian Militia and Police force helicopter. While it is expected that limited training flying aircraft will have been experienced from terrorist units, it's completely possible that a few of the units have had had formal or semi-formal civilian or military flight training in helicopters (which is relatively easy to do). The helicopters are also are easily attainable, being primarily militia and police force helicopters, making them an easily accessible viable tool from the War Surplus crash of the Soviet Union. Still, the armor and weapons of the helicopters themselves seem to be somewhat limited, as do the pilots, although a helicopter with a single regular unit with a few machine gunners or a with an RPG can be a devastating unit. Cruise ShipWhat is most interesting about the terrorist group, is that they seem to have acquired a rather large Cruise ship in the Voyager class, which was just being completed, and almost ready for interior designing. The American Cruise ship company Royal Caribbean International reported it missing several months before this incident, which they hoped would hastily result in finding an abandoned cruise ship of it's floating somewhere in the mid Atlantic, possibly due to an Anchoring problem. The Voyager class refers to a design of post-Panamax cruise ships owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International cruiselines. The Voyager class ships were built at Kvaerner Masa Yard’s (now STX Finland Cruise Oy) facility in Turku, Finland. The ships have a diesel-electric powertrain. They are powered by six Wärtsilä Vasa 46 diesel engines, giving a total output of 75,600 kW. The generated electric power drives three 14 MW ABB Azipod azimuth thrusters (two steerable and one fixed). The Cruise ship is fully capable of supporting roughly 3,114 passengers and 1,180 crew members, although are a lot more are capable of being jammed onto the ship, if necessary hotel and crew space are avoided. Not equipped of weapons of any kind, large amounts of infantry carrying RPG's, machine guns, and other light arms are present on the cruise ship. While not particularly deadly, they are fully capable of attacking an unarmored ship and possibly overthrowing it.

((Okay! So, here we go. Infantry get 5 clips of their respective ammunition and ammunition count (So a 5 30 round clips, or 5 100 round boxes etc.) for their primary weapon and three magazines for their side weapons, plus the magazine in their weapon, for a total of 6 and 4 magazines, respectively. Aircraft get their standard assortment, with full machine guns/cannons (if you have them) ammunition and of course, I'd love to say 6 explosives, but you get your regular standard assortment of explosives (which is probably six). As for naval ships, you as well get your standard assortment. The same with tanks. Pretty basic; make sure to read over most the page to be aware of the basic information before posting. As for the first assault, we will be entering the Island on the Farthest side left, to allow us the greatest space away from the original port (to the right) to not be seen. Infantry will either be dropped off by boat or by helicopter.)) Name: Inficio Constupro Rank: Tah Generalz of the MILITARY Location: Adjacent Island to Objective Objective: InfiltrationIt's 2AM - it's 2 AM. The fear is gone - the fear is gone I'm sittin' here waiting; The gun's still warm. Thinking my connection is tired of taking chances... Yeah, there's a storm on the loose, sirens in my head Wrapped up in silence, all circuits are dead Cannot decode - my whole life spins into a frenzy! Sorry, the Narrator is singing a pretty good song called The Twilight Zone. Becuase somewhere in a lonely hotel room there's a guy starting to realize that eternal fate has turned its back on him.
Anyways, Inficio Constupro, Tah Generalz of the MILITARY, sat waiting in a small Zodiac Boat, awaiting for the perfect time to give the order to begin the, supposed to be stealthy infiltration. He was aware that the units present were most likely terrorists, and he was aware of the bulk of the units assumed affiliation, and he was aware of the weapons being used by Terrorists, but something didn't seem right to Inficio. The water was silent, the enemy boat was stirring, bright yellow lights were on and supposed partying or fear tactics were being implemented by the terrorists on the island. Yet he was unsure of who the supposed terrorists were. The way they had managed to find a boat, navigate it down to Pakistan, gather weapons at the dock, head down to the best Island to pick from, and capture and enormously huge amount of people in possibly the biggest overseas terrorist attack, ever, made him uneasy. How a Terrorist plan of this magnitude was conceived, created, and implemented from untrained informal militia terrorist, was inconceivable. As far as Inficio was aware, trained military units were on that island, ready, and waiting for the Armageddon that was about to ensue on them.
As usual, he carried his typical set of gear, which all together, weighed over 100 pounds, including the body armor. He wore his usual CAS body armor system, designed and fabricated (more or less innovated) as a result for an immediate use full body armor system; this armor soon to be replaced. For his weapon, he chose an M240, a heavy, reliable, nearly recoil less 27.6 pound 49 inch tank machine gun, that with 200 rounds a box to carry the ammunition in, a scope, a foregrip, and a bi-pod, was a full 38.5 pounds. On top of his weapon he bore a ATN 10x65z with a .308 drop scope, the .308 and scope to hopefully give him a rough estimate of where his rounds were going, even though he used 905 m/s armor piercing rounds. On the front of the scope was a light non magnifying thermal scope addition that, when turned on, would cause everything that came through his scope to be seen in it's thermal view; with the magnification and drop compensator of his previous scope. On his weapon was also a detachable foregrip and folding bi-pod attached to an underslung picanty rail, of which would serve as the primary balance areas so that he could steady his weapon. With him, were 5 nylon boxes of 200 disintegrating linked 7.62mm x 51mm Armor Piercing NATO rounds, that at a combined total, weighed 55 pounds. He wore two bags suspended on his chest for easy reach, and the other three were left in his back-pack. For his side-arm, he used an M45 Mk. 2 pistol, a 13 round enlarged clip dampened recoil accurized version of the Colt 1911. Also present among his array of weaponry, were 4 F1 "Defensive Grenades". Although heavy, cumbersome, and hard to carry, the M240 was one of the most accurate, high powered, high RPM, reliable weapons available, literally originally being designed for tanks. The weight was worth it for Inficio, who felt that, becuase as he would be staying in a remotely stationary position anyways, wouldn't necessarily require any worries about weight. He as well, didn't carry a light anti-infantry weapon either; which would be absolutely crucial for the units who infiltrated the Island. Inficio knew that he would need to serve as the eyes, ears, and immediate high powered back-up for the group, and being the General, would have to be present, calm, and back far enough to see what was going on, on the island in order to give orders. Despite how crucial this job would be, he would have still liked to be one of the ones who were initially invading the Terrorist Stronghold, but his position as the Tactical Commander was extraordinarily important in an almost entirely improvised situation as this.
Very quietly whispering a question over the Inter-COM, Inficio asked a basic question. "Alright, is everybody ready for Diving?"

Name: Robert Huang Rank: Sergeant Location: Adjacent island to objective Objective: Infiltration
"Sir yes sir.." Robert whispered into his microphone. Cradled in his arms was a Kel-Tac m26, chambering the 7.62x51mm rifle round. He signed up to be a marksman, so obviously he was using the long-barreled sharpshooter version which weighed roughly 11 pounds. If he was to be a sharpshooter he wouldn't have to move very much anyway, so the weight wasn't that big of a problem to him. He sighed, looking up at the sky, feeling homesick...It wasn't the first time that he felt homesick right before a mission. He felt around his thigh for his drop leg holster, making sure that his Colt m1911 was there...The last mission he had run out of ammo and forgot to bring a pistol along. His face was painted with the green to match the foliage of the island and his boonie hat, although it offered no protection at all, would offer him a better platform for camouflage. The special forces guys preferred those things anyway...He sighed yet again, pulling his rifle's sights up to his eyes..An ACOG TA-31...His favorite scope variation which also had a non-magnifying thermal scope addition, seeing how it was a night mission and all, he figured that it'd be a little better to match the commandant's optics loadout. He seemed a little antsy, waiting for the Zodiacs to speed off towards their objective. Strewn across his chest was a bandoleer of grenades, a few m67 HE grenades, two flash bangs, and a single smoke grenade. In one little pouch, laid a pen-shaped flare gun...It'd be useful since they were going in at night, if needed he'd light the bastards up and daze the hell out of them before picking them off with his rifle. He learned his lesson...No more cigars or cigarettes in battle, and they, were no longer a part of his loadout, hell he even wanted to quit smoking after that last incident where his guys almost got blown away by a crazed madman with a Huey gunship.

Kuro sat there in the boat. His Mk. 42. assault riffle lying by his side in the boat as he heard the sergant ask if they were ready to dive. "Yes sir" he replied back. Even though part of was terrified about what was about to take place once they set foot on the island. But this was not the time to be afraid.
Every soldier went into the battle with his head held up high, ready to fight and defend his contury and loyal comrades. He took one last look at his comrades on the boat, and waited for the order to move out. Soon his heart began beating rapidly as he looked out at the island.

Name: Loginquitas Iuguolo "Preacher" Rank: Gunnery Sergeant Location: Adjacent island to objective Objective: Infiltration The righteous eradication of the infidel nation was the only possible answer for this kind of situation. Extreme prejudice was exerted during events like these, and for Loginquitas Iuguolo, this wasn't entirely a bad thing. After all, the very land he stood on was bathed in the blood and discarded remains of innocent civilians slaughtered by the hands of genocide; and the people who had committed these acts. No, for Loginquitas Iuguolo the land he was about to gain control of he was liberating, consecrating the area until he transformed the infertile decaying cesspool into something useful, perhaps even holy.Plucked from his Daydream, the Preacher began to utter a slight prayer “The action is an act of mercy; a forsaken life cannot be left in anguish, and perils and grievances must be removed before the spirit can come to rest. The final act of Damnation has been received by your end. The only proper way to dispose of you is with a gentle removal of you from this world. See you on the other side. Amen.” Was uttered by both Preacher, and his long time squad mate, Priest. Priest was essentially Preachers partner; usually, his spotter. Sniper Teams always traveled in pairs, which served as a force multiplier for both of the Snipers; two people operating the same weapon serves to make that weapon extremely dangerous, and it should it be an extremely dangerous weapon, extraordinarily lethal results could come as a result of it. A sniper was only was good as his spotter, and the Priest was one of the best. Not that the Preacher wasn't a decent spotter himself and that the priest wasn't an amazing sniper, but rather that each one had certain aptitudes for their particular role, and had achieved a certain system they had become accustomed to. Readying themselves, the Preacher threw his XM500 to his shoulder in his ready position while the Priest inspected his M26 that was sitting in his lap. The Preacher knew that he probably should have bright a lighter or quieter weapon to this mission, but he couldn't get over his love for the .50 caliber weapons. True, this one was less accurate and more noisy, designed to be shouldered by an ordinary Squad Member, but he loved the range and firepower of the weapon, something he was sure would live up to the standard motto: one shot, one kill. As for the Priest, he carried a more conventional weapon to the battlefield; something smarter, but in the end was chosen for the same reason as the Preacher: Nostalgia. As standard for the Spotter, the Priest carried with him a 7.62mm x 51mm NATO rifle, faster firing, better short ranges, and with a lot more ammunition. True, they wasn't as powerful as the .50 caliber weapons he too was used to, but they had never failed him before, and given the CQT on this mission, he was sure that quick, accurate, and above all virtually silent fire would be crucial to this mission. If any fighting broke out, he was sure that it would be him that would be doing all the shooting in this mission.
Of course, his M26 wasn't entirely an "Normal" CQB weapon... After all, it was 11.8 lb, 40 inches long, and sported a 32 inch match grade barrel with match grade 11.2 gram 780 m/s sniper ammunition; not too usual for an "Assault Rifle". The weapon also sported a 6 inch Knight's Armament 7.62mm x 51mm Scope, similar to the one's found to the M110. Still, it was as close to a CQB weapon that any Sniper would normally have ever gotten to, and both the Preacher and the Priest were ready as they ever were for the mission ahead.

Name: Sergeant Avery J. Johnson Rank: Sergeant Major Location: Adjacent Island to Objective Objective: Infiltration
Sergeant Avery J. Johnson was not a novice unit. His rank was E-9, or Sergeant Major, which meant that he had the highest rank of a Field Commander that could be possible; usually, units of his kind of Authority were given the go ahead for a straight up Officer's rank. His situation, however, was slightly different. Sergeant Johnson was a field unit; that meant that he operated directly in the field with a full fledged weapon and was engaged in the same exact combat that an ordinary unit was. He also had his own particular role that he was intended to full-fill, in this case a grenadier. While Sergeant Johnson was an officer and strategic adviser just as everyone else was, Sergeant Johnson was also an immediate tactical adviser and coordinator, and his particular job was to lead units directly into combat while issuing commands, rather than just sitting back. This was partially due to his ability as a capable field unit, but mostly becuase he had requested it and immediate, direct, and on the spot mass orders needed to be issued when the s**t hit the fan, and he was the one there to do it. While not necessarily ranked higher than someone in the "Officer Category", being the NCO that he was and the nonstandard high rank of it, he was just as well a Combat Field CO as anyone ever was. He was also decent at delivering ridiculous, outlandish speeches.
"Men, we led those dumb bugs out to the middle of nowhere to keep 'em from getting their filthy claws on Manoka. But, we stumbled onto something they're so hot for, that they're scrambling over each other to get it. Now I don't care if it's God's own anti-son-of-a-b***h machine or a giant hula-hoop; We're not gonna let them have it! What we will let them have is a belly full of lead and a pool of their own blood to drown in! Am I right Marines?!"

Robert couldn't help but grin at Sgt. Maj Johnson's little speech. "Sir yes sir!" He whispered loudly, pumping his hand in the air to show his enthusiasm. "We need more people like this guy...." He mumbled to himself. He heard a marine behind him say "Ooh ********' rah.."
Robert tapped his microphone again. "Sergeant major, we're ready to dive...And it'll be a hell of a lot more than just drowning them in they're own blood, we're going to strangle them with their own intestines..." He said. He started whispering a cadence as he waited patiently. "If I die in a combat zone...Box me up and ship me home, comb my hair and shine my shoes, dress me up in a set of dress blues...Tell my mother not to cry, marine corps motto is do or die, tell my girl I did my best....Pin those medals and ribbons upon my chest..." As he mumbled the cadence, he figured he had time and triple checked his supplies...Everything checked out, he looked around at the rest of the people that were working with him.."It's a good day to die ain't it marines?" He grinned.
