Eclipse made sure one last time that his children were all warm before sitting down in a rocking chair, covering himself with a blanket that was hanging over the back of it and cleared his throat before starting his story.

"The devil I guess you could be called my father, he was my creator, he made me by his own two hands, he felt like there was a void missing in his life so he created me as a child, nothing more then seven or eight years old and I lived happily down in Hell, playing with his right hand demon woman, Chandra, she was my best friend, we did everything together when she wasn't doing work for the devil and I loved every moment of it. We explored Hell together, looking through the nine circles of Hell, anyway time came when I had to leave the fun of what my life was, living in Hell as a child and the devil was informed that this world could be perfect to take over and he needed a spy, this was at least two hundred years ago, he needed someone to go be his eyes and ears and that someone was me so I was killed and remade an adult though I was still able to retain my memories of when I was a child so thankfully I still remember the fun times I had with Chandra and even at times the devil himself.

Once all was said and done I was sent from Hell and ended up here, I was told I needed to check the place out and report anything useful to him and so I did, I was happy to do as he said and not long after I came across a dead snake, I had felt lonely a bit, having lost my best friend since I came to this place and for some reason I took a liking to a dead reptile. So I called in a favor to the devil, asking him if there was some way he could give life back to the snake and there was and allowed me to have that one favor so he brought Priscilla back to life for me and we have been together ever since, I couldn't have Chandra so I was able to make Priscilla my new best friend and I was happy with that.

Anyway, as time went on we grew closer and our job here was just as busy as ever, making sure that this place was right for the devil and all that but then I came across a strange monster on the outskirts of one of the villiages, it was a strange, demonic looking monster and I thought that my 'father' had sent it to help me or some other reason so stoped to help it but realised this monster was nothing that I had seen down in Hell, it was far too strange for anything my father could create. So I helped him as best as I could and he took me to his world when he was up to it, finding it all strange and new I ended up staying in this other world for a while, it was fun to explore this new dimention, I ended up staying there for many years, I even found out a way I could become ruler of this world, it wasn't too hard, they were simple creatures, they had strength and intellagence but they didn't REALLY know how to use them properly.

So, I ended up staying for a while but then I wanted to come back here, it was fun being in that place but even I had gotten used to the lush greenery of this place that I had started to miss my work on this plane of existance so I left the monster I saved in charge, having taught him everything I know and came back here, I can come and go to this other world as I please, I have the means now but still, I haven't been back there for a while and in a way I don't really know if I want to or not.

Anywho, I came back here, having seen how different the place was now and realised how much fun explorering this new look of the world would be, all new towns and villiages to explore etc, Priscilla and I came back and ended up meeting a pony named Lycurgus, he had been having problems with the gang he was in and I said I would help him out, I was bored a bit and after we had been talking for a little while I thought it would be fun to help out though my help probably wasn't needed but oh well, it was fun. Anywho, we went back to his gang and sat down and spoke with the herd leader, talking about helping those out with fighting, a problem the herd faced, they were strong but they wern't THAT strong and I had a few other worldly friends who could help out in that department.

So after a few moments we came to an agreement and I said that I would 'train' a dozen or so ponys to be their best, just enough to help out if need be when other herds came around demanding a fight or whatever, these lot didn't care wether or not they fought for the right reasons or not so I grabed them and trained them up...not that it was actually hard to do, it was fun really. The process was rather simple, I killed them, I placed one of my friends from my old monster stomping grounds into their body and mixed quickly with the soul of the decesed, a trick they had the ability to use, and they brought the dead pony back to life and the dead pony basically retained their memories, voice etc but the monster inside of them acted as their strength and that was pretty much it besides the odd random appearance of another comming through at times.

Lycurgus was not one of them but he did become a special project for me, of course I did end up marking him with my own special brand of powers from the other world but thats another story for another time, after basically minipulating the rest of the herd, making the leader work in my favor I decided to call it quits there, I was getting a tad bored with it and Ly was now set to do bigger and better things I didn't know about then. I left, decided to camp out in the woods near the gang and decided to wait out what would, sometime, be a way to help Ly more, the time come several weeks down the road when Ly's new powers came to be of use and he killed a guy, long story short, he was now leader of this gang, he killed a guy but didn't take it well and ran off, having been struck with guilt, especially when the guy he killed had a child look up at him asking him how he could do such a thing and told him that he hated him.

So I ended up watching Ly run off into the woods, followed him and ended up talking to him and making it sound like it had to be done and that he was right to do what he did etc and we became close and you could say that we even dated but that was short lived, that pony has major problems due to what he did and we both needed time apart so we parted ways, especially since I was growing bored now with the whole woe is me thing Ly had going on even if it was technically my fault. So I ended up here, I had nothing better to do so I decided to stick around which is where I ended up meeting Raven who had just conjured up a beautiful, old torture device known as the Inquisitional Chair, you are too young to know what this does so I wont go into it but we got talking and Raven invited me to stay with them, thought it would be fun to have her torture devices used as something fun by someone instead of just using them for evil.

I guess that ends my story though Raven IS the only other person, besides the devil himself, that knows how to kill me but we won't go into that, just that as long as I don't do something to annoy her greatly I stay alive which is fine with me, she doesn't care who I annoy otherwise or what I do, I just can't annoy her to the extent that she brews the one poision I can die from" he said with a sigh, wishing she didn't know black magic, if she didn't then it wouldn't of been her to find the poision the devil only knew about...well, so he thought. All Eclipse could ever assume with this is that the devil wrote it down somewhere and somehow Raven was able to find it and copy it, oh well, he and Raven got on great so he wasn't scared at all, though he did wish they spent more time together, she was fun.

Eclipse looked around at his children and stiffled a yawn "well my darlings, that is my story, I know that it was long and I am sorry but you did ask" he said smiling at them as he got up and placed the blanket on the chair and walked over to each of them, kissing them each one last time "now sleep, I am sure you are tired" he said as she pulled the covers up alittle more when he reached Chalice whos had come down a bit.

"Goodnight daddy, goodnight mommy" Chalice, Mel and Fate said at the same time, all yawning softly.

"Goodnight darlings" he said kissing each of them one last time and then smiled at Voo "come, lets leave them to sleep" he said as he walked out the door.

Voodoo nodded and got up and walked over to each of their cribs and kissed them all one last time also "goodnight my darlings" she said as she walked out of the room and shut the door behind her.

The next day Eclipse slowly rose out of bed and yawned, noticing no Priscill and noticing that Voodoo was next to him, odd, they never slept together, well besides that one time where she forced him to and ended up having kids together but still, after that he vowed never to sleep with her again regardless what type it was. "Voo?" He said shaking her a little, Voo not waking at all so Eclipse just sighed and got out of bed and went in to check on the children, see if they had woken up yet "Renfeild!" He called, looking over at Voo her bearly stirred at all as he made his way towards the door, noticing Renfeild having finally arrived at the top of the stairs "where is Priscilla?" He asked, wanting to make sure he hadn't done anything to his precious cobra.

"I have no idea sir, after torturing me last night she just slithered away, perhaps you could check downstairs in one of the secret passages or something? She usually ends up in strange places."

Eclipse sighed and nodded "alright, thank you and can you please make sure you have Voodoo's 'morning' glass of blood ready and chillded for her when she gets up?" He said as he walkedaway and headed over to the childrens room to check on them.

Mel and Chalice were still asleep, happily dreaming away of the story their father told them last night but as for Fate well...

Fate had climbed out of his crib and had pounced on Priscilla, nomming gently on her head happily.

Priscilla, having been caught off gaurd was hissing terribly, wanting to be let go but obviously this pony Brat had other ideas.


Eclipse heard the hissing and quickly opened the door and saw what was happening and growled at his son "FATE!!!" He screamed as he ran over and pushed, as gently as he could, his son off Priscilla and quickly picked her up, wrapping her around his neck and checking her head out "my darling, whatever caused you to come in here!?" He asked the snake, ignoring Fate for the time being, just wanting to make sure his darling was alright.

Priscilla nuzzled Eclipse, she wasn't injured but still she was a little battered to say the least, she hissed a few things, causing Eclipse to nodd and kissed her head.

"I will give you your favorite food today darling, you deserve it" he said as he looked back at Fate "you do NOT touch Priscilla, you especially don't try and eat her! What do you have to say for yourself?" He said growling again at his son.

"I am sorry daddy, but I was hungry..."

That is STILL no excuse, because of this you will be staying in this room till lunch time, you can think about what you have done and if you have learnt your lesson you may spend the rest of the day with me and your siblings, I will bring you up your breakfast but other then that I don't want to see you step outside this door" he said as he turned around and looked at his now awake siblings.

"Daddy, what happend" Chalice asked, having been woken up by her father.

"I am sorry darling but your brother is being punished, if you want, we can get breakfast if you are up for it."

Mel nodded as she yawned and stretched "I am" she said, deciding not to question what Fate did.

Chalice nodded "I am to" she said as she decided also it was best to not question what her brother did anymore.

Fate said nothing, he just got up and moved over to his bed, climbing back up and sitting in there, if he was going to spend the next few hours in his room then the least he could do is have somewhere comfy to sit.

Eclipse moved over and picked his two daughters up out of bed and placed them on the floor as he walked over and stood looking in on Cobra.

"A meal one has at the start of the day, at least normal ponys do, I eat like normal ponys since I can walk around during the day, it is a meal one has in the morning when they wake up, lunch being a meal you have around twelve in the afternoon and dinner...well thats really any time after five in the afternoon really and since you are all babies and yet to have a set feeding time I will feed you three times a day since you are young and are yet to sort out for yourselves when you are ready to feed. That is, of course, if that is alright with you, you can pass over this meal if you wish but I would prefer it if you don't, I would like for you four to keep your strength up" he said to them, wondering if he should take them out to feed this morning or use some of the blood Voodoo keeps to feed them with.

"Alright then, lets go" he said helping out Cobras siblings and ushering them out the door, leaving Fate to his own devices and shut it behind them "want help again?" He asked gesturing towards the stairs and laid down at the top of them.

Chalice nodded "yes please daddy" she said as she climbed onto her fathers back.

"Alright" he said as he took his daughter down, letting her off at the bottom and made his way back up "Mel, what about you?"

Mel nodded and waited for her father to lay down before climbing onto his back "ready."

Eclipse walked down the stairs and let her sister off to wait by Chalice while he went back up to get Cobra, if he needed the help of course "and you, Cobra?"

Eclipse laid on the ground and waited for his son to climb on "then ride it shall be" he said as he thought over breakfast "so, what do you darlings want to have for breakfast? Warm fresh blood, taken straight from the body or blood out in the fridge?" He asked them, deciding to let them decide.

"I would have to agree with you on that but then, given my make up, I find a glass of nice cold blood nice in the summer time" he said once his son was on, he started down the stairs and laid down, letting him climb off "that alright with you girls?" He asked, looking at them.

Mel nodded "yes, thats good daddy" she said laying down, in a way she wanted to go back to bed but maybe, after breakfast, daddy will let her unless something else comes up.

Chalice nodded also "yep, thats alright with me as well" she said as she walked over towards the fire and laid down in front of it, the warmth was so nice, all she needed now was a blanket and a pillow and she could totally end up sleeping here.
