Um... I know this is kind of a stupid question, but...
on the shinigami skeleton, what would the zanpakuto type be?

There are no stupid questions. :3 Well, that's a lie, but yours isn't stupid~

The type depends on the Zanpakuto. Some are Kidou, like Momo's, some are elemental, like Toshiro, some are melee, like Ikkaku, and just different types like that. ^^ If you're still confused, you can go look at the captain's profiles here~. I hope that helped. (:
