I've been getting a lot of questions about how to do promos.
There's a right way to do promos, and a wrong way.

The right way
Tells a story, gets to the point, its comical and features the Best. Nuff said

The wrong way
Sorry but I couldn't get past my bleeding eyes to pick this apart..

When making a good promo you want to cover the following:
Your goal -
Are you aiming to be in a title match?
Are you feuding with someone and want to dwell deeper on it? Are you looking to debut a stable/tag team?

These are some examples of what you want be sure to get that some where in your gibbering.

"A heel must always have a reason for his actions, no matter how wrong his logic." - Chris Jericho

Me personally? All of my promos are improve, meaning I do them right there on the spot. There's no planning or anything of that sorts.

However, my opinion the following do the best promos
Kelly King 2.0, Xfactor (As Disciple or Riker), Landry

If you're a face try to appeal to the crowd, if you're a heel insult them. Unless you're making a heel to face turn, or a face to heel turn you don't need to act one way or the other.

Read Chris Jericho's book when you'll came across a line where he talks about how to properly do a promo in the business.

" The first big lesson I learned about promos (get your pens, kids), was: 'Never Totally Bury Your Opponent.' You can tell jokes and insult them all you want, but if you don't build them up to some extent, you're just burying yourself. "
