Well we're not exactly on the best terms with Russia but yea, it might be to distract us.
Although it might be apart of Armageddon. The part where it says 1/3 of the world's water is set ablaze after the beast rises from out of the sea.

Why do oil spills happen all the time? is it really that easy to spill oil?

JeffofSpades Why do oil spills happen all the time? is it really that easy to spill oil? When you're greedy and don't take the proper precautions it's more likely to happen. Only instead of a ship that will only spill so much, this is a possibly infinite well on the bottom of the ocean.

*ahem* it is IMPOSSIBLE for the oil spill to be infinite, as we have a finite space here on earth. The oil leak is finite, just VERY BIG.

Sciamancer *ahem* it is IMPOSSIBLE for the oil spill to be infinite, as we have a finite space here on earth. The oil leak is finite, just VERY BIG. I didn't mean literally infinite. It may as well be though considering all the damage it's capable of doing.

Lawl oil... what was up with that golf-ball idea? That wasn't even remotely thesable, man I had laugh-spasms when I heard about it. Nah they're just trying to up tensions by reducing the amount of resources on the planet so they can umm... what's the word... like, speed up the commencement of WWIII and kill us all.
