As he drifted off to sleep, he felt she cuddled next to him and almost instinctively he moved an arm out and wrapped it around her waist. It wasn't long after until he felt his head fall to one side as he soon fell into deep sleep, dreaming of the adventures of the day to come.

As soon as the morning light hit Jerome's eye, he was awake in a heart beat and looking around, yawning occasionally and reaching to rub the sleep out of his eyes, but for the most part he sought to locate his mate, and whether or not it was safe to move from his sleeping position, which remarkably was the same from the night before

For the first time in a long while, Koyuki still remained undisturbed and asleep even as the sun continued to rise. Nestled still in the crook of his arm she didn't even rouse when her mate had started to move about. Curled still against his side she wore a silly little sleep smile on her maw, tail twitching lightly as it was evident she still seemed to be in a dream like sleep.
"Mmnnn....look...eet....you..." Her sleep murmurs came out as no more of a whisper, hugging closer to Jerome to relish in the comfort of his warmth.

Noticing his mate was still happily asleep he chuckled lightly, hoping that wouldn't wake her. But unfortunately, the day was long and they had to get moving. So as much as he regretted waking her, he gently nudged her shoulder with the opposite hand.
"Koyuki. I know you want to sleep, but we have a long day ahead of us." he spoke gently into her ear, hoping he wouldn't have to get up in order to wake her

Feeling the gentle rousing of her shoulder, the vixen made a sour face before her eyes fluttered open. Taking a moment to adjust to the brightness outside the shelter she brought a paw up to stifle a yawn, seeming a bit disorientated from her deep sleep but otherwise pushed herself to sit and wake up.
"Mhhnn, is it morning already?" Koyuki rubbed her eyes and looked back to Jerome with a smile. "I hope you slept as well as I did..." However, it did seem to bug her that she hadn't woken up; especially since she had been persistent on being early. "Must have been why I slept so late..."

Moving the hair from her eyes as she woke up, he moved his arm so she could sit up and try to wake up. "Of course I slept well" he chuckled. "You were out like a baby, I felt bad waking you" he mused leaning forward and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
After that he stretched his limbs and yawned a bit himself before stumbling to his feet, getting one last stretch in

Smiling as she felt those ever notorious butterflies well in her chest at such sweet displays of affection, the vixen finally felt her body wake and her senses gain some clarity. "Was I really? I didn't think yesterday was so tiring!" She admitted, still finding it off that she didn't wake up; but in the end decided it was her unwillingness to waste not a moment of precious alone time with her mate.
"I'm glad you did though, I'd hate to become lazy and in such a sluggish routine." Standing up herself, she slipped out of the makeshift tent and adjusted her kimono properly. The sun was nice and bright on her fur, and it made her thankful for such co-operative weather on their first day of travel. "Well, we should get packed up then and hit the road since i've seem to put us behind my desired time of leave.." Turning to look at their site, it was really just that tarp and the basket to return back to the house which was a good thing. "We should be on the road in no time then.!"

He smiled and nodded, moving as she did. "Well that's why you have me then now is it?" he chuckled as he began to untie the rope around the tree, soon folding the tarp and ready to put on his armor.
"No...you're on time, my love...we haven't wasted anytime on your account" he nodded as he placed the boot armor over his calves, slowly working his way up till finally he put on that famous Spartan helmet
