As a mom I try not to teach my daughter any words I'd dislike to see her say such as cursewords and hateful words like queer or retarded.

The only word that bothers me is "c**t". It's even more degrading than slut.
Certain words I don't like when used in the wrong context. I've given my friends s**t on a few occasions when they casually call someone a ****** or some other racist slur. It's just uncalled for.

There's difference between being hurt and being offended.
I've been called a lot of names but even the ones that hurt haven't offended me.
I've been called Satanist, witch, slut, c**t, dyke, and the like but that doesn't make any of it actually mean anything. I know who I am and they obviously don't. I'm a mixed race bisexual pagan with large breasts and a high IQ, the reality of life is that I'm going to get s**t for openly being myself.
Sometimes it's just funny watching their little minds fail to grasp concepts and use language skills. It gets especially funny to repeatedly correct them while they do it.
My aunt did say something really terrible oncde that really was offensive. It was at a x-mess gathering and there was a bowl of mixed nuts. She picked out a Brazil nut and said "we call these ****** toes." THAT was offensive. Why would she say that? and why the hell would she think I would tolerate hearing that?
They aren't words, but concepts:
The Mormon Church offends me in that I and six generations following me have been excommunicated from their idea of salvation and redemption because of what someone else did.
I don't share their beliefs, and do not follow the god of Abraham in any of his forms, but the idea that my grandchilren's grandchildren don't even have the option of believing some guy read sacred scripture out of a hat because of my mother's sexuality is really absurd.
Sure I could petition the church to revoke their judgment, join and get kicked out for my own sexuality
The very idea of Origional Sin is offensive, as is condemning internal organs. I don't care what the Pope thinks about it, my spleen is just fine in all it's spleen-y goodness.
People that hatemonger in the guise of religion offend me

People don't usually call me names. I actually don't care about what they say, I care if they said it to hurt me, then it always does. And when it is on Internet (and I do not know if they wanted to hurt me or not), b***h and a*****e offend/hurt me.
What I really didn't like was when I was young was because they sometimes said it was to sad to bully me. That that would be to mean because I would be to sensitive. And they would say "let's all bully (fill in name)!!!" and then "yeah!! he is always so annoying" and "sounds like fun". I really hate those people... really... with a whole big group against 1. And just being aware of the fact that they were bullying. And they where only 11 and 12. I asked why they where doing that and the said "that is just the way of life" and they throw me on the grass. I have developed hatred for bullying and bringing someone down just to get better yourself. (Yeah, I have been bullied).

I've had worse, its practically impossible to offend me now, as everything already been said.
As soon as someone starts in, I usually throw a "GTFO c**t" at them and they shutup.
If anyone is getting offended or has bullying problems, take a psychology class, you can bring people into ruin.
I got in huge a** trouble for almost making some wannabee goth chick kill herself.
